We had heard all the great reviews about morgan's mango from the travel forums, and it surely didn't disappoint. the service was fantastic and the meal was one of the best we had on the island. The food was out of this world . Will...definitely put this one on my list when we return in a few years. Can't say enough about it. Oh, and they have the best mojitos we have ever had. Try them !!!More

We have gone to Morgan's Mango for celebrations every time we have visited St. John (New Year's Eve or birthdays) and this restaurant never fails to please and impress us with the quality of the food and service, as well as its beautiful island atmosphere.

I tried for a Saturday reservation to get the Caribbean Lobster and could only get in on a Sunday evening. Fortunately, our server told us they had extra lobster and that was still on the menu. Our group enjoyed the lobster, a snapper dish, shrimp...and the seafood chowder. All entrees were well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and beautifully served. We shared a sampling of desserts, which were also wonderful. You can't go wrong coming here!More

Great food, great staff, and great price. The quality of the food is worth stopping by and compared to other restaurants, it was cheaper over all: cocktails, wine, entrees, and dessert for two cost about $150.

First of all, be sure to make reservations. This is a very popular restaurant. When we arrived for the first seating (5:30-6pm) we were warmly greeted and quickly escorted to our table. Our server, Chey(enne), was very friendly and efficient. She was always there when...needed, but never hovering. After making some suggestions, she took our orders for drinks and appetizers (House Salad and Always Morgan Ceviche). Both arrived quickly and were very tasty. Our main courses, Grilled Mahi Mahi and Poppas Pickapeppa Rib Eye Steak were delicious and done just right. For dessert we had their scrumptious Key Lime Pie - yum! The food was very good, service excellent and, despite the waiting crowd, we never felt rushed. Very enjoyable.More

Call when you book your plane ticket to make a reservation. They fill up fast. Everything we had was to die for. I couldn’t get enough of the Creamy Seafood Paella. Our server Alec was so great and very friendly and knowledgeable on wines.

We have been long term customers of Morgan’s Mango. In a two week time we had three reservations. Generally we sit at the railing in St. John’s but they decided this time we would be sitting in the upmost corner or the restaurant. We made...reservations through our concierge and requested a railing table. If it could not be accommodated, it should have been designated at the time of reservation. We finally got them to settle us in a table in a highly trafficked area. The people at the next table had fouled mouths using loudly the “F” word all through dinner and they were way over served. The owner failed, refused and neglected to address this issue! It was disgusting. We ordered appetizers, salads and drinks and left. The owner’s failure to address this issue and the other issues was a clear indication to us of how he valued our long-standing loyalty. The food was “fair at best”. We will never refer or go to this restaurant! Stay away..the people are rude and the food is only fair!More

Lots of good things to say... Service, decor, general ambiance. We started with snapper ceviche, which was really good. We also had four nice small rolls, at $1 a piece. My ladies mahi mahi was a disappointment. Chewy. My whole snapper was delicious. Side are...a bit nondescript, except for the black beans which are very tasty. As I said, a nice place, but if you are going to drop easily well over $100 for two, there should be no negatives.More

The food, service, and ambiance, of Morgan’s Mango is first class. We went here on the recommendation of many people. It did not disappoint. First of all our server was fantastic. She was very friendly, and attentive to our needs. The food was absolutely amazing....Whether you have seafood (which I recommend) or something land based, you will not be disappointed. It is very reasonable, and the drinks are generous. It is an open air restaurant which just adds to the experience. Highly recommended if you’re in St. John!!More

Hello Mike and Kat! Tables 21 and 22 are the two tables for 2 on the balcony that everyone wants but as you know, they get direct sun at sunset time. I would recommend tables 24 or 52 to avoid it. We look forward to... More
