I tried speaking to the owner, Kelly ignored my messages. So here I am.
Kenny speaks negatively about equality for Black people despite living on a Black-majority island. I will never walk in there again (the beers were cold, but that was the only redeeming...quality).More
Now, after 8 years of visiting the island, it is my favorite bar. Kenny, the bartender made me feel like a celebrity, as I tend bar in Jack Demsey's Pub in NYC. My fiance and I had the best time of our entire trip patronizing...this establishment. Kenny was professional and fun, and introduced us to the local denizens of this wonderful watering hole! Did not want to go to an Irish Pub on the island, but so glad that i made the visit. This is now my favorite place to go, and the first place I will stop into on my return. Hello to Dave, from Lime Out, and to my friend Sinbad ( keep the Rocket Fuel flowing!) See you all on my next trip . Stay safe.More
Each year we come here I look forward to having a few cold drinks on the deck of the Quiet Mon Pub and people watch. I also enjoy the friendly bar manager Kenny who seems to be a world traveler. This is the cornerstone for...the world famous annual St Patrick’s parade a must see. I was honored to be asked to help carry their Guinness banner in the parade a couple years back. Stop in for a delicious corned beef sandwich and say hi to Kenny if he’s not bringing a boat up to the Corinthian Yacht Club Marblehead, MA or back in the fall or spring.More
I've heard plenty about this place. It is located next to Woody's, and is a second floor bar with an Irish theme. It was not very crowded but the patrons there were loud and rowdy. Some folks were playing darts. The main room was dark...(it was still light out) with no views of the water or really anything interesting. Pints of Heineken were $5 which makes this one of the more expensive bars in the downtown area. Was not clean enough to consider trying the food. Maybe we just caught it at the wrong time.More
This was our first trip to STJ. We were there for a week and ended up at the Quiet Mon a few times! The drinks were the cheapest around and the atmosphere is great. Sitting on the open deck and people watching the street below...is a great time!More
