Lovely, homely cafe in the heart of Merthyr Tydfil. Dine in or take away. Always a welcome and a pleasure every time

Visited here for the first time. Really tasty Sunday lunch with plenty of vegetables and homemade gravy. There was also a good selection of homemade deserts which looked scrumptious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming I will be visiting again.

Great food and not expensive at all! Worth a visit! I strongly recommend the lamb dish. (Ps. I really like the red wall and the poster)

My husband and I took our 2 year old daughter for breakfast as a treat, we'd heard good things about this cafe and we like to support local businesses. We however ended up leaving before even placing an order. As we opened the door we were made to feel totally unwelcome and despite the cafe only having one other customer... More

Everything about this place was fav! We had Sunday lunch, which was divine, and none of our party of 5 could fault. We also had deserts which were varied and all delicious. The staff were outstanding and very welcoming without being suffocating and intrusive. The place was spotless too. One minor complaint I would have liked more than one roast... More

You'd have thought with all the "bigging up" on the menu that the food was going to be stunning, but alas fell a long way short.
