Great food... less than desirable service. This restaurant location is absolutely beautiful on the beach. Everything we ordered was fantastic. Decent wine list. They ran out of “birthday” desserts. The service was appalling. It took an hour to even order our entrees. The pear flatbread,...seafood pasta and seafood hotpot were delicious. I’d definitely come back and hope for better service.More

Went here and had the crab cakes which were a bit salty and grouper which was good. Good service and nice ambiance.

We arrived without reservations on a busy night but the lovely and energetic hostess found us a table where I enjoyed the best roasted sea bass I've ever tasted. Other dishes at the table reflected a conscientious kitchen served by a professional and responsive waitstaff....During a time where creating space between tables means fewer tables per room, I thought the extra fee for a table on the beach was a bit much but perhaps it's an additional cost for the restaurant or a holiday premium. Regardless - we had a great time.More

We made a reservation to dine at CFM based on excellent reviews and were pleasantly surprised to be seated on the patio and oceanfront! It was a beautiful sunset experience and atmosphere. Extremely friendly hostess and wait staff. A large selection of menu items —...everything was quick and overall tasty. We had to go with the local conch fritters to start. I’ve included a few photos from our dining experience! Thank you CFM!More

Have eaten at CFM twice in the last few weeks. Great food, great ambiance and location, great service (Kiki was awesome!). However, both times the techno/house music was so loud it made conversation at our table almost impossible. The volume and music both times was...totally inappropriate for a high end restaurant - it detracts from what otherwise would have been an excellent dining experience.More

This restaurant is part of the Elysian Resort. It has open air dining on the beach of Cowpet Bay. The main dining room is open to the outside and they also have a number of tables outside as well – all just steps away from...the beach. They have a great selection of seafood, wahoo, lobster, sea bass, shrimp, grouper. The main menu lists a few wines, but just ask for the main wine list and the server will bring you the main wine list which has plenty of wines in all price ranges. It helps if you know your wines a bit. We ordered an Australian red blend for $35 that was marked up 3 times – pretty typical for most restaurants. However, one of the most common value priced zins in the US was market up about 5 times – a bit much, but not uncommon for value wines. The wine was served at the proper temperature which is not always the case on the islands. We started with the crab cake appetizers ($17) which were two average size cakes. They were served with some salsa and a slight spicy aioli – excellent. My wife had the shrimp penne pasta ($29). It had many shrimp (tails still on) and was a large portion. She said it was good, but nothing special. I had the crab encrusted grouper ($39) which was excellent. The fish was a good sized portion cooked just right and the crab was a nice portion and added a nice flavor to the fish. We shared the ice cream waffle sandwich ($10) for dessert. This was a unique and very tasty dessert – with chocolate covered waffles and ice cream. I had a double espresso with dessert. Service was excellent. Attentive without checking too often. Total cost for a bottle of wine, one appetizer, two entrees and dessert and espresso was $145 (plus tip). As dusk hits, they lit the Tiki torches which always adds a nice tropical flair. Plenty of free parking on site. All in all an excellent dinner and experience. Definitely the place that offers the most seafood selections.More

Don’t miss the bacon cheddar hush puppies. I dipped them in syrup—AMAZING! We also had the eggs benedict and chicken/waffles. Everything was delicious. Sunday brunch is always busy, but they move people in and out pretty well. Open 10a-2p on Sundays only.

If you are looking for Caribbean ambiance..5 star! However if you are looking for a good cocktail/wine I would suggest going elsewhere. Food was good, but not great

We stayed at the resort so this was very convenient. Once we tried the food, it became our go-to place. Situated right on the beach could not have been a better location. The service was outstanding and we didn't have to wait for a table...even without reservations the first night. The grouper, bass, calamari, prime rib, Korean wings were all outstanding. The tuna poke and eggs benedict we had for brunch on Sunday were also really good. The bar tender (wish I could remember his name, he comes from Morocco) was terrific. The prices are steep but it is well worth it for the overall experience.More

Hi Linda! It's been under new ownership for the last 12 years, but it is the same location where Robert's used to be!
