Lovely courtyard restaurant down a cobblestone alley amid shops and a profusion of exotic flora. The Spanish plates here include a best-of-my-trip grilled octopus salad which I may never forget. A Paella dish was scrumptious. I could go on, but just go there!

We decided to go to Amalia Cafe because of the great reviews and wanting different choices on a menu than most of the restaurants. We had very attentive service and the food was delicious. At our table we had a bread basket, French onion soup,...More

This was a real surprise --authentic Spanish (from Spain) food, including Andalusian Gazpacho, lamp, mussels, other tapas, including Puntalintas (baby squid). Yum!

We discovered the Amalia Cafe several years ago when vacationing in St. Thomas and now it is a must eat at place for us. The Paella was perfectly seasoned with a hearty amount of scallops, shrimp, clams and calamari. The gazpacho was perfectly prepared and...More

With a group for business dinner. Appetizers were nice, red sangria -- eh . . . had better many other places. All other diners' entrees arrived, my place remained empty for 5 to 6 minutes . . . my entree was obviously forgotten . ....More

The food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance was quite delightful, outside but in a courtyard away from traffic.

Nice atmosphere, good food. Average service. I felt it was over priced for what it was. Not the best place we've eaten by far.

Our group of five had a fantastic dinner at Amalia Café a week ago. Our server - Cara with a "C" - was extremely efficient and anxious to please. She made us forget we were on "island time"! Everyone enjoyed their dinner, which was very...More

On our evening in transit through St. Thomas, right after all the yachties were back on board their boats, and the cruise crowd back aboard the Princess ship in dock, we had a wonderful dinner of tapas and sauces and sangria here at Meson Amalia....More

Palm Passage is a walkway as opposed to a street. There's a big "Palm Passage" sign at the waterfront end. A map would be helpful here.

Amalia Cafe is a delightful open air Spanish themed restaurant in historic downtown Palm Passage, Charlotte Amalie. The menu is heavy on tapas, with favorite Spanish entrees like Paella or Zarzuela. Enjoy a taste of Spain in the Caribbean.
