We ate here and enjoyed fresh oysters as well as their special for the evening. It was amazing. Our server Dexter was really great. We could not ask for a better evening!

The banana skillet dessert is amazing. We went there twice for dessert and almost got it a third time! You can tell the ice cream is homemade! The grilled oysters and jerk grilled shrimp was really good. They add a 20% tip onto the bill...for any size party. The service was really slow.More

Rude manager Food was good. Overprice, $100 for a 2lbs Snapper, we were a party 15 in 2 tables, order 2 plates for kids and 2 of them did not like the only 2 kid’s plates. So we order a burger in the next door...place and manager did not allowed the 2 kids have the burger. So one of the group had to leave the table with his kid’s, have them eat the burger in the other restaurant and then come back. Very rude manager, we try to explain and he did not even offer a option. Would not come backMore

Ate here four times during my stay at Sapphire Village. This is the best meal in Red Hook, no comparisons. It is a bit overpriced but honestly you’re paying not to be disappointed. A couple highlights are the mezcal cocktail, the short ribs, and the...Caribbean lobster. A couple disappointments were cocktails inconsistent (a Yes, Queen tasted very different upon second visit, one visit they were out of the bonafide bootlegger, and the bananadine is just meh), the whole fried fish was gorgeous but very plain tasting and not worth $50/pound, and desserts need work (rum cake with pineapple sorbet arrived at table as grilled toasted ‘rum cake’ with vanilla ice cream and the banana skillet was basically a granola mush). I do suggest going here. I’ll go back if I end up here again. I hope the reviews are used as growth opportunities and this place keeps trying to beat itself.More

Great dining experience, the best in St.Thomas. Very close to Sapphire Beach where we were staying. The wait staff was very well trained and knowledgeable about the daily specials.

We were disappointed with our meal. The ribs were really tasty and good but the rest of meal was just okay. The atmosphere was not as scenic as we thought. The bill for Our mediocre meal was astronomical. Will not be going back.

All started well. We stopped in on our first night and had a bottle of wine at the bar. After chatting with the friendly bar staff we decided to stay for a selection of apertizers that were pricey but very good. We decided to go...a second night later in the week and made reservations for 2 at the bar. Our hostess started off our evening by being aloof, joyless and monosyllabic. Perhaps another line of work without customer interaction would suit her better. At the bar the food was decent but, for the price point, not overwhelming. I am by no means a gluton but found the civeche portion to be somewhat scant. The entre course was good but not great and the bartender serving us seemed a little too preoccupied chatting up any under 30 year old young lady. Never make a bar patron feel ignored. All in all I would classify The Easterly as uneven which, given the price tag, should not be the case.More

We went to the Easterly twice in one week. First time we had the fresh caught snapper. It was so good we returned. Second trip in the same week- When we were seated at the bar, we placed our orders for the fresh snapper. The...bartender came back and shared that we couldn’t order the snapper. They were “saving it “for the investor group that was there that evening. She even in took the time to show us where they were seated. I wish I would have spoken to the manager that night but I was so shocked that she shared that. It seems they value their investors more than there other patrons. The food we had that evening was mediocre at best.More

We had a wonderful dinner at The Easterly, from the dozen PEI oysters, custom cocktails, ceviche & main course (tuna, lamb & swordfish). Our server Sarina was efficient and very personable!! Definitely hope to be back one day.

We, family of 4, 2 children, perhaps arrived a little late on a weekday night. Service was slower than Island normal times. And maybe would be better without younger kids. Or perhaps we had a long day. Either way, grumpy littles can make for a...less than ideal situation. To my wife and I, the food was ok, but I will stop here. Our personal experience may have been shaped by the pooped kids.More

The BEST restaurant experience we had so far ( 12 days and counting), while visiting St Thomas and St John. Service by Jonathan was attentive and outstanding. He aims to please. Very knowledgeable about the menu and cocktails. Chef does a great job of adding...textures and unique flavors to the dishes. Also love the ambiance of the small, waterfront spaces right near the Red Hook ferry dock.More
