We had the Oxtail platter and the Curry Chicken. Both were outstanding. We loved eating local food in a local environment. The plantains, rice and peas as well as the cabbage sides were great. We were taken here by a private guide but were the only tourists in the restaurant. We truly got the feel of eating at a local... More

The curry chicken and jerk pork were both amazing. Great sides. Loved the caramelization on the plantains Sweet and delicious. Cheesy good Mac & cheese and the stewed cabbage was cooked perfectly. And our server Lynette was so knowledgeable and gracious. A must visit place for wonderful local food.

We visit Trenchtown every time we go to St Thomas and the food never disappoints. We were however disappointed this time with the fact that they were out of plantains as well as conch fritters - 2 of the items we look forward to the most. :(

David's tour took us here for a great local place. This is everything I have wanted. Real where the locals eat type of place. I got to eat goat, ox tail and some of the best rice. I can't say enough of this service and food quality.

The food, drinks and service were second to none! What a great break from a morning of shopping in St. Thomas. Our server was the best! After several days in the Virgin Islands we asked for a good drink that wasn't very sweet and our server made us an amazing rum drink! The curry chicken was the best I've ever... More

While on a cruise we stopped in St. Thomas. Trenchtown Rock was recommended by a local for their specialty curry goat, curry chicken and jerk chicken wings. We stopped in there and I'm glad we did. Our server Lynette was absolutely great. (sorry it took me a few days to write this Lynette). She explained the menu to us and... More

My husband and I dined at Trenchtown Rock in 2014 and LOVED it. We were so happy that St. Thomas was on our itinerary again because we had to come back. Delicious Jamaican Cuisine and the best Bushwhackers EVER!!! Definitely coming back:)

We had the pleasure of visited St. Thomas, VI to celebrate my wife's 50th Birthday. We took a ferry over to Charlotte Amalie to do some shopping and were greeted by a young man who recommended we grab a bite at Trench-town Rock, since we love Jamaican food. The food was delicious, the portions and prices just right, and the... More

After shopping at Shaka Zulu, he referred us to Trenchtown Rock around the corner. They have some of the best fruit punch and passion fruit punch I have ever tasted. I had a heavy breakfast and only wanted something lite so i went for the jerk chicken wings appetizer. They were tasty but fried a little too hard for my... More

The location of this restaurant is perfect. The dining area is very spacious. I didn't really enjoyed my food. I had the jerk chicken and rice. I felt that I needed to add more seasoning. To me, the jerk chicken wasn't really jerk. What I did really enjoyed was the festivals and plantain. OMG!!! really, really liked it. very tasty.... More
