WOW! We are a party of 17 people and have been visiting Virgilios for years - and keep returning! We are never disappointed with the cuisine, service, and atmosphere. Our most recent visit Lola was our server and she was the BEST! The bartender, Albert,...was fabulous too. Every appetizer, drink, entree, and dessert that was ordered left us wanting more. Has a chance to eat here with the whole family while sailing on the Wonder of the Seas. Amazing Italian food. Centrally located. Takes a second to find because is one block off the Main Street but it is absolutely worth it. Service, food, ambiance...all excellent. Highly recommended. Family friendly.More
My husband and I had a wonderful spontaneous dinner at Virgilio’s on our trip to St. Thomas! We did not have reservations and we were happy to get the last table in the front corner (best table in the house in my opinion!). We got...the Caesar salad for two…they make the dressing from scratch right in front of you! It was so good and the salads are huge! We also got the lasagna and asked to split it due to not being extremely hungry. We were pleased when the lasagna came out already split on two plates! You will not regret going to this restaurant! It was our best dinner on the island! I wish I had room for the bananas foster dessert as that looked amazing too!More
It was a white knuckle ride trying to find the place, but totally worth the trip. Beautiful interior. Food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken parm, wife had a margherita pizza. Tomato sauce on the chicken parm was incredible. Everyone was friendly. My wife...and I will be back, the next time we are here. I would recommend (and have) this place to anyone.More
Party of 7 had an amazing dining experience. Lola was our server. She was next level as was the bartender Albert. Our food was delicious. We had calamari, table side caesar salad, osso buco, linguine with white clam sauce, lasagna, manicotti and eggplant. Everything was...perfect.More
Food here is wonderful- we had Lasagna, chicken, and pesto...and the Bananas foster was AMAZING. The staff were polite and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The restaurant is very small, and there's no parking, so plan ahead for that. Also...- for families with younger kids, the walls are covered with nude paintings.More
A wonderful Italian spot recommended by our hotel chef. A beautiful interior with artwork through out. We started with the mozzarella appetizer. A very unique and tasty approach! Very good. I had the veal piccata and my wife had Maria's lasagna. Both delicious. The room...itself was fairly dark and warm. I would hae appreciated a little cooler temp inside, but the food was terrrific.More
One of our favorite Italian restaurants. Being from NJ we know Italian. Delicious food and outstanding service. Italian “gravy” just like home.
Lola made the night from the minute we walked in. She was fun and made great recommendations. We have heard about the food multiple times and just hadn’t tried it yet and now we feel like we were missing out. Not only was the atmosphere...and service fantastic, but the food was a hidden gem. We come from an Italian family and were surprised by how good the food was. We will be back again!More
I have been a patron of Virgilios for years and don’t see that changing anytime soon. The restaurants eclectic decor of the various paintings is always interesting! This visit, we had the ceasar salads, lasagna and tiramisu. The portions are generous and delicious. Virgilios also...serves one of the best cappuccinos on the island. We will always visit this restaurant when in Charlotte Amalie.More
This was part of our St. Thomas food tour. It was my favorite stop!! The bananas foster was amazing!!! The chef prepared it beside our table, exciting to see! The decor was beautiful, too.
Small casual restaurant with fine dining appeal. Excellent Italian food, excellent service. Please try the Virgilio's "Cappucino" for dessert. One of the best Greek salads I've ever had and the Caesar salad was great too.
My favorite to visit so far. Would go back again! My wife is lactose n tolerant, and they done a great job accommodating her! Food was great and serves was just as good!
We had a wonderful meal at Virgilios. Service was excellent. Loved all the local art. Give yourself a little extra time before your reservation time as parking can take a bit.
We visited this restaurant while on a local food tour and had to go back for dinner. Glad we did. I had the scampi and my wife hade the calamari. Both sauces were delicious and the pasta was cooked perfectly! The tiramisu is like mom’s....If you are looking for local and home style this is it. The dining room is also decorated with art from local artists.More
