We had a reservation for 630 and I was concerned when I walked in and we were the only people there. More people started coming a little bit later but it was concerning. They had a decent selection of the menu and we all enjoyed...our food. I got the muscles, my mom got the ribs, and my son got the shrimp scampi. The inside of the restaurant is nice, nothing special. Since they are located right next to the marina it might be nice to take better advantage of that. There were guys working on the awning drilling while we were there so that was annoying.More

This is very cozy comfortable place. We ate outside and enjoyed the gentle breeze and views of the harbor. The service is very good and the food is pretty good I liked the experience

Shrimp scampi was watery, out of soup with only 4 people in restaurant. Nice waterfront view, easily accessible.

My husband and I had been recommended to this restaurant by a few locals as a great spot in Frenchtown, so we decided to try it out. I had the grilled ahi tuna with mango, and seasoned vegetables, and my husband had the grilled swordfish....Both were excellent, seasoned well and not overcooked or seasoned. Service and drinks were also quite good. No wait, but we were there on a Monday night, and our server told us this was the first Monday they had been open.More

Went for lunch - food nothing special. Had my daughter and her friend with us and they wanted virgin pina coladas. Got the bill and they were $11 each - I questioned this and was told that was same cost as one with alcohol. The...waiter said he would get the boss on the phone and double check that was the right cost - was told the boss said yes and would not budge. Seriously $11 for a non-alcoholic drink. Both the waiter and waitress were very embarrassed. We won't be going back.More

I stopped by for lunch and the fish sandwich did not disappoint! Fish was fried crispy and full of flavor, fries were plentiful and side sauce was the perfect topping for the sandwich. Highly recommend.

Awful dinner experience here. The food is terrible, especially the yellowfin tuna and lobster roll. Both almost inedible. What really made the experience disappointing was when the waitress added $12/drink to upgrade the margarita to Patron. Menu clearly stated $9 for margarita and $2 additional...charge for patron to make it $11. She added $12 per drink instead of $2 and when I asked her if that was correct she said yes. So either she doesn’t know the menu, is completely clueless that a drink should not cost $21, or she intentionally added the wrong amount. (We think it’s the later because we spoke to another group who had eaten there and they had a similar experience with “mistakes” on their bill). I got a copy of the menu and showed her it’s $2 not $12 and then we had to wait a long time for her to fix it with barely an acknowledgment of her mistake. The combination of awful food and dishonest staff means you should avoid the is place at all costs.More

For the past two years we reserved our final dinner on the island at this restaurant. We’ve had such wonderful meals. Unfortunately, this year was different…. We had a reservation but ended up being early and the table was ready and they sat us immediately....We asked for an outside table but they said the one reserved was inside and couldn’t be switched. We received menus waited over 10 minutes with no one greeting us or taking drink orders. Since the menu had really changed and nothing was grabbing us for wanting to try, we got up and left…after waiting another 5 minutes without anyone coming to us. It wasn’t even busy with only 2 tables inside and four tables outside with people at them. Very disappointing…. Luckily we did end up having a fabulous final dinner at the Caribbean Saloon in Red Hook!More

Historically, we had great experience at this restaurant. Last night's service was very disappointing. The menu is very limited. The service was marginal at best. The place was almost empty (in the past it was always hopping). My wife's Ahi tuna salad was tasteless, my...shrimp scampi was so..so. To add insult to injury, the restaurant added and automatic tip of 20% to our bill, when clearly such a generous tip was not earned. My advice.. find another dinner venue.More

Terrible since Ted&Becky have sold the restaurant. Now selling fish from Vietnam (Saii)? Limited variety: Grilled snapper shown on menu; came out fried/tasteless.

I had been told by a friend that this was a great place to eat so 10 of us took the 35 minites cab ride from the East side of the island to a very disappointing meal for everyone. Only one of the 10 of...us was able to eat her meal. They had a limited menu for staffing reasons which is understandable in this weird pandemic time. I ordered the pasta duo with shrimp and lobster. $48 for 3 shrimp and 3 tiny pieces of lobster smothered in a bland curry sauce that I had to repeatedly salt and pepper. The person across from me order the turkey BLT. She couldn't even eat. How can you mess up that? Several other people at the table had the Grouper. It was thin (didn't look like grouper) and it was covered in some sort of sauce. No one was able to eat it. I will say that we had the lobster cakes as an appetizer and they were pretty good. I was really expecting some great food since it was highly recommended but this was nothing like the website or what my friend's experience was in the past.More

The restaurant has limited hours and very limited menu now due to staffing shortages. We have had good meals there in the past but it is not worth the trip at present. No fresh fish on the current abbreviated menu. There are other good restaurants...in Frenchtown with full menus right now. Hope Hook Line and Sinker can recover after Covid is under control.More

Don't waste your time making reservations...they arent that busy. I expected something a little fancier with the prices and having been told to make reservations but when we got there at 530pm (stayed til 730p) only 3 or 4 more couples came in on a...Sat night. The food was ok, the drinks were watered down and it is definitely fresh fish...you smell it as soon as you walk up.More

This is probably the best meal that I had in the past two weeks here at St Thomas. The service made it even better. Our 'Ambassedor' that helped us was Ermine. She was friendly, smiling and helpful. We would definitely recommend this for others to...enjoy as well.More

Great food but let the buyer beware. All my fault but I ordered one of the specials and did not ask how much it was. Sure was surprised to find out my shrimp and scallops on pasta was $42! And the server had such a...grin when she told me that. Other than that ate here 3 time and the food is delicious!! Not great on the ambiance for the evening. Lights need to be dimmed but would recommend it.More
