We decided to give this place a try and were not disappointed. The fish was so fresh and the portions were huge. We both took leftovers.
It’s not fancy but if you enjoy fresh fish, you won’t be disappointed here. Reasonable prices too.
Great restaurant tucked back off the street, bit hard to find, but worth the effort! Once we found it, had great service, great food and great selection of drinks. Yellowfin tuna with mango rum sauce was really good. Wife had the pizza loved it. Our...sons had steak and salad, love them.
Not sure how this is on the list of best restaurants in St. Thomas, this was by far the worst we experienced on the island. We had a reservation for 7 people, had to wait 20 minutes for the table to be set up then...went outside and the table was sized for 4 with 6 chairs crammed around. We pulled over another small table and chair to accommodate our 7 person party and hostess tried to tell us that was not allowed - we sat down anyway. We then waited 30+ minutes for drinks, including water and were never offered a refill. Then waited another 30 minutes for food and an entree was missed which we had to wait another 10 minutes for. Food was good but not worth the wait or poor service. Restaurant is also run down and dirty - aesthetic is not at all as it is portrayed online. Do not recommend.More
We were in St. Thomas over Mother's Day weekend, and decided to try Hook, Line & Sinker because of the great reviews. To ensure we would get a decent table we called and made reservations. When we arrived we had to wait over 40 mins...just to get a table. Business was steady but not what I would call overly busy. We were seated outside at a table by the side parking lot, under the noisy AC and TripAdvisor sign. We waited an additional 20 minutes for menus and drinks while the other tables got their food and drinks. I guess that is what happens when you are seated in the parking lot. Over 1 hour later we finally received our food. Needless to say, the food was ok but not worth the bad experience. Long wait time, poor service and OK food. Hoping they were having a bad night.More
We were literally sat at a table that was one step from the parking lot. It was under a noisy air conditioner and had a garbage can right at it. We waited over 35 minutes at our table before a waitress came out and only...reason she did was that we complained. Extensive menu is a flat out misrepresentation. They had burgers and pizza but not much to choose from as far as seafood and that's what they advertise as. Food ok nothing outstanding and my bill was $50 without any alcohol. One and only trip for us for sure. Couple next to us gave up and left.More
This is our first time to St. Thomas, and we’ve already discovered the best server on the island, Rosie! She will make you a killer piña colada and margarita. We spent Cinco de Mayo here, and she really made it such a fun time for...my whole family. We ordered the Northdrop Platter for 2 — and it did not disappoint. Talk about some of the freshest seafood! While the restaurant began to get busier and busier, Rosie still had time to be fun and friendly. This was some spectacular service! Oh, and what an amazing oceanside view from our table. We will definitely be back — maybe even for dinner tonight!More
