Everyplace I travel I always sample the sushi. I believe the nori seaweed and the sticky rice are basically the same wherever you dine. The thing that differentiates an average sushi roll from an exceptional roll are two things (again IMHO), the quality and quantity...of the fresh seafood (and accompanying ingredients) and the toppings (e.g. Roe, mongoose sauce etc). Fair, right? By those standards I have never had better than Beni Iguanas. The rolls are HUGE and they have more fish than rice. Every one. The Big Bill roll has nearly an ounce of fish in every slice! Unbelievable! I don't know how they turn a profit. In comparison, I also visited a sushi restaurant called Raw on St Thomas. The amount of fish in the roll I ordered was the size of three toothpicks tied together. Otherwise it was all rice. Exact opposite of Beni's. Please do yourself a favor and give it the Pepsi challenge to your favorite place. You won't be disappointed. Oh, and Billy rocks!More

We come to St. Thomas every year but haven't been in 3 years because of the storm. We were looking forward to getting some great Sushi here again and they did not disappoint. Sat outside on a lovely night and had a great time and...some great Sushi.More

Not the worst sushi I've ever had but was expecting better with the reviews. The "big" rolls are actually huge rolls. I had to cut mine in half to be able to eat it. The customer service was also just okay.

The food is very good, the service was wonderful, attentive without being overwhelming. Billy is great! If you are just getting off your cruise Ship, you probably are looking for Wi-Fi & this place has fast Wi-Fi for customers.

Went here before going back to our cruise ship for some seafood sushi. It was pretty good. Our waitress was really nice and didn’t hound us. Food was fresh and they had a pretty good selection to choose from. Nice atmosphere. Definitely will go back...next time we are back in town.More

AMAZING sushi. The fish was very FRESH and the flavors were absolutely delicious. The staff was probably the best staff I’ve ever come across restaurant wise given how friendly they were. We are visiting from California and they took the time to write down familiar...restaurants and bars they enjoy so we can try them. Overall, we’re very satisfied and can’t wait to come back ! Francis makes bomb sushi!More

I was wandering on my own on St. Thomas that day. I saw Beni Iguana's from a boat that I was on and I went back after my excursion for lunch. Good food, good portions.
