While doing some local shopping my husband and I stopped in to grab some traditional caribbean food. Unfortunately this restaurant is more Americanized. There is a location across the walkway we would have preferred because on our previous visit we went there and the food was amazing but they were closed. We were told by one of the locals to... Variety of dishes on the menu is amazing! Oxtail, whole fish (fried or steamed), curried chicken, shrimp, jerk chicken, fungi (cornmeal with okra), they even have beef liver and onions. We sampled most of the above dishes and boy oh boy was the food delicious. They have Mac and cheese, French fries, something for everyone so don't be afraid to... More

Stopped by on a suggestion from a friend who lived on the island for 9 years. The conch and oxtail were amazing. Like anyplace on the island the service was slow but the food was worth the wait!

Just returned from our 6 day stay in St. Thomas for family vacation. While we were shopping in Charlotte Amelia, we stopped to eat lunch at this restaurant after several folks had recommended it. As promised, the food was good. But our waitress was a bit unattentive and slow at times. This restaurant doesn't have a nice view of the... More

Growing up and living in the Atlanta area, I suppose I was expecting to see large signs pointing the way and marking all the best restaurants. Not so in St. Thomas, but Cuzzins is worth looking for and going to. Parking is an issue. Streets are narrow. We parked several blocks away and walked. The restaurant was quite busy, although... Oops....sorry about the incorrect side dish--- we would have happily brought you the correct side! When you are in dontown St Thomas you are in an historical district that Is restricted from signage and billboards....most people in the shops or on the street can point you in the right direction. We are so happy you found us! We are only... More

After reading many tripadvisor reviews, I had Cuzzin's on my list of places to eat for lunch when we were downtown. The service was fast however, my husband and I both got jerk chicken wraps and they were not spicy and very fatty. Neither one of us finished more than half of it but we were never asked how it... I went to Cuzzin's as a recommendation by a local and it was probably the best food I had on the island. I'm from another Caribbean island and the food tasted like home. Our waitress was very attentive and the drinks were good. I'd definitely go back.

Thanks Tae! We do prepare real local food! All of our cooks are from St Thomas or somewhere close by! We use lots of local spices and if it is not spicey enough for you, we have Cuzzin's Afterburn ( our own hot sauce that is prepared from local hot peppers!). Hope to see you again next visit! Appreciate your... More
