Horrible, horrific can't find the words for service. We were literally the only folks in the restaurant and we waited for water, then waited for bread then after an hour waiting for a simple pasta orders, left the restaurant. It appears Ex Pats seek out...the restaurant looking for the flavor of home. It's absolutely not - I can't speak to the food other than the bread (funky flavor, not Italian influenced) and an appetizer (Mozzarella - grease balls. Flavorless appetizer in a flavorless sauce) . It was $25 for Mozzarella appetizer and water to give you an idea of pricing/value. If you have any other choices including Subway and McDonald's, I'd recommend go there. This place is just awful.More

Awful service, waited over an hour for food when the restaurant was nearly empty. Waiter was rude and inattentive. When filling water cups the waiter put his hands all over the rims of the cups. Pandemic? What pandemic. After paying $25 for fried mozzarella balls...and cancelling the order, we were told by the owner as we were leaving the place, “this is harder than it looks!” Pictures are disingenuous as the restaurant is attached to an auto parts store. The reviews seemed to indicate that it was a decent place to eat: not even close. Needless to say, we will never again give un Amore the opportunity to charge $25 for 4 mediocre mozzarella balls. One circle only because “no circle” wasn’t an option. TroyMore

Enjoyed the service, the atmosphere and the food here. Don’t let the exterior fool you. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated In the charming dining room. They have a great specials menu, as well as their standard popular fare. The handmade pasta...bolognese was so good! Loved this place.More

We returned to Un Amore this year after eating there last year a few times. It’s a bit out of the way and set back so you have to really look for it. We loved it then and this year it’s just wonderful again. The...waitstaff is excellent, personable and efficient. There are specials each night written on a board. Pastas are homemade and just delicious. They had run out of pesto the night we went, so I ordered chicken Marsala. It was just great with a nice large chicken breast and the perfect amount of Marsala sauce and mushrooms, served with a vegetable side. The garlic appetizer is just yummy. Roasted full heads of garlic with delicious Italian toast. We split a salad between three of us and it was the perfect amount. Prices are reasonable, except for bottles of wine. The cheapest bottle of wine is $38, which I think is a bit high. (Most are $50 and up. )We also enjoyed a delicious dessert, again homemade. So, find Un Amore if you’re looking for great Italian while in the island. We’ve already made reservations for next week.More

My husband, elderly mother and I had a lovely meal! We ordered three different entrees and each was special. The portions are enormous so we took food home for lunch the next day! Do not miss the roasted garlic starter. Best if all was the...service. My mother was chilled. I asked if the ceiling fan speed above us might be lowered. Not only did the woman do that, but she brought my mother a shawl!More

We had an exceptional server and an delicious meal this past week. Our server even made suggestions as to what events in the area would be occurring during our stay! She went above and beyond just serving our meal....she even arranged for a taxi to...take us home after we found ourselves caught in the rain! This is not your fast food pizza place, but a worthwhile European Italian delight!More

Two days ago I suggested Galangal, the Thai restaurant in Christiansted, had the best food on the Island. I should have waited. Three of us went to Un Amore for the first time in our 7 journeys to St. Croix. Sorry we waited so long....The food is simply wonderful--every dish was exceptional. My mother in law had the pork chop and it was the largest I've ever seen. My Tortolini Formaggio was the best entree of the night. Maybe the best Italian food we've eaten. This is a chef who must love the art of cooking. The portions are quite large--we brought food home. We had the baked garlic cloves to start and I also had the tuna ceviche which was unbelievable. We had read online about the olive oil cake and it lived up to the hype. Extraordinary. The wine selection is good--we had the red zin on the recommendation of our server and really liked it. It's not cheap--no food on the island is, but splurge and visit this place. Don't be turned off by the parking lot, adjacent to an auto parts. The inside is tastefully done and a bit quirky--very welcoming. The service is just the best we've found. Every person we encountered was friendly--such a welcome change for St. Croix, where you can often be made to feel that the servers are doing you a favor. My mother in law was a bit cold and they brought out a shawl for her to wear--nice touch. If you do only one splurge, this should be it.More

After a few days in St. Croix we were all craving some good Italian food which is definitely challenging to find. Well, we're so glad we found Un Amore! I had home made Pappardelle pasta with marinara which was delicious! My picky daughter ordered a...pizza which she complained was "too cheesy" (it was really good...it had fresh mozzarella on it which she's not used to) so our waiter promptly boxed it up, didn't charge us for it, and brought her another meal. My other daughter ordered a pasta special which she loved and my husband ordered a spicy meat pasta dish which he loved too. We will definitely be back on our next trip! Funny....we ran into our waiter while shopping in Christiansted a few days later and he went out of his way to say hi to us!More

Started with an amazing Brie plate. She had the Shrimp and I had Penne Pasta with chicken mushrooms and truffle stuff. We finished with the Olive oil cake with Limoncello glaze (and a shot of Limoncello on the side). Delicious every bite!
