Ordered lightly breaded coconut conch with mango slaw and it was delicious! Omg the conch was so tender and delicious that my butter knife was sufficient to cut through it and yeah that matters to me because I’ve had coconut conch at other restaurants and...it was awful. Hats off to Big Al’s Burger for such a delicious entree. My daughter had the “Ultimate Burger” with waffle fries and it was perfect. Overall it was a satisfactory dinner experience with family. Service was fast and staff friendly and professional. Ambiance was laid back and relaxing.More
After reading in travel books and magazines we were excited to try the sliders and multiple fry types. We were surprised at how tiny the entrance was, though it does open up once you enter. Service was friendly but quite slow, especially considering we were...one of only two couples in the place. We were surprised to find someone completing loud bike service (rattling/grinding machine) in the back while we dined (the bike place was closed for the day already). Our beer arrived barely cold, surprising since it was not busy and we would have expected beer in the fridge would have been very cold due to not a lot of activity into and out of the fridge. Perhaps this should have been our sign to leave. My fries were hot, my husband's were warm, our burgers were only lukewarm at best.
We were disappointed to say the least. Would not return and would not recommend.More
I don’t know how this place is still in business. It feels like it’s never been cleaned. There’s clutter everywhere and feels gross. It needs a deep clean. If it had been up to me we would have not ordered anything and walked back out....But the husband was craving a burger. We had the King Crown Burger with pastrami and the Ultimate burger with bacon, onions, and mushrooms. Food took forever to come out. It was not good. Fries were terrible. Service was awful.More
An American Style diner with relaxed Caribbean service.
A great choice on the menu but we had to go for the burgers which were excellent.
We ate early so it was quite quiet but I imagine it buzzes when it is busy.
We ate at big Al’s twice during this stay and our last stay we ate there a lot as well. the food is great I had steak one night and fish and chips the other night both were wonderful staff was very prompt and friendly...prices are reasonableMore
We had great memories of visiting here 5 years ago. It is still a nice alternative to the expensive, gourmet resort restaurants but the service at lunch was very slow and the food was average. Ordered a burger with mozzarella and mango slaw. Served a...burger with cheddar and fries. They corrected the mistake and the mango slaw was good. Perhaps we hit it on an off day.More
We have been several times and are never disappointed. The prices are reasonable and the seafood is always fresh - whether fish tacos, grilled fish specials or lobster dishes. Lunch or dinner. We usually eat outside.
Having been here once before as it is close to our accommodation and an easy stop off after work, I expected pretty good food with a less than happy service. However, tonight Keisha was working and she was a star. Happy, helpful and efficient….. you...could not ask for more.
During our visits, we have had a range of foods from tuna salad, burgers and the veggie options. All have been pretty good and sensibly priced which is not always the case in TCI.
Think it really fits the family slot as good options for kidsMore
