We had to wait about 30 minutes on a Wednesday night. The food was yummy. Attentive service. The prices were a bit on the expensive side, for a family of 4, we spent , maybe $150.00 on dinner without desserts.
We had great food when we went there, so good we went back a second time in our week stay. It was close to all the resorts, and we biked there from our hotel. The food was truly amazing and the drinks were very good....I would highly recommend the grouper if you go. It is a location without AC, so dress accordingly.More
Every local I asked had this spot at the top of their list. Took the family three times. The kids loved it. The wife and I ordered three different things each time and just weren’t as impressed. Cool vibes, wait staff was friendly. But there’s...island time and then there’s Grouper time. Definitely one of the slowest by a long shot.More

Staff is super friendly. The food is a MUST try. We shared 3 dishes. And all of them were just full of flavor and Dwight. Had several drinks and they were spot on. The piece is reasonable, and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend Mr...GrouperMore
The food here is fine, although the service is on the slow side. The mango mojito was overly sweet and seemed to contain no alcohol. However, the real issue with this place is the tendency to serve guests lower quality fish than ordered. My fiance...ordered the grouper and, as someone who eats quite a bit of fish, he immediately noticed that something was off. It did not have the taste or texture of grouper. However, it still tasted pretty good so he did not raise the issue. When we got into the taxi to go home, our driver asked what we ordered. My fiance said he got the grouper, and the taxi driver laughed and immediately asked whether he actually received grouper. Apparently this place has a reputation for serving tourists lower quality fish when they order the grouper. Two stars because the food was half-decent, but we would not return due to the dishonesty we believe we experienced.More
Every time we come to Turks and Caicos our trip is not complete without stopping at Mr Grouper. This is the first time we took our kids and made sure they experienced the best grouper ever. We always get the same thing which is the...conch chowder and pecan crusted grouper but our son also got the grilled Grouper sandwich and BBQ ribs. His exact words were "the best fish sandwich ever". We were also happy to see the restaurant thriving as it's gone through an expansion since we were there last 2 years ago. The owner Phillip also stopped by our table and was nice enough to show us a picture of the huge Grouper they had received that morning.More
