My Favorite Vegan Options in Turks and Caicos.

I love this restaurant, not just because they have quite a few vegan options, but because the food is so freaking delicious. Mr. Ajay Dutta Vyas is very friendly and very helpful on menu consultation. He even lived for a time in India where meat was forbidden, and he has also stayed in an ashram... read more

Service was friendly, prompt and genuine. The wife and I shared the lamb shank. Kids had the chicken tikka masala. For the shank, (the chef's speciality) simply 'Superb!' Fell off the bone and melted in the mouth. The subtle fragrances and spices were perfectly balanced. Flawless. Kids gobbled down the chicken. I mopped their gravy up with buttered naan. Eat... More

We ate here one evening and were the only customers. Not sure whether it was just a quiet night or that people in Provo eat early. Food was nice, nothing special but pleasant. Expensive as always - all restaurants in Provo are.

In looking for vegan food in Provo, I was pleased with the food offered here at the Garam Masala Restaurant. I would recommend it to vegans and vegetarians. I did ask for a glass cup for my water. I didn't like the copper cups they used.

A really good change of pace from the usual fare of conch, grouper and snapper. Mini Samosas in a light crusty puff pasty vegetables with enough spices to make it interesting without overwhelming. Same for the chicken tikka app from a tandoori oven. Main courses: Chicken Kadahi with red and green peppers in a curry well seasoned and Aloo Ghobi... More

We ordered a 2 tikka masala and 1 korma accompanied by nan breads. We were all very disappointed with the curry. Felt it was very watery and not the usual thick rich creamy texture that I am normally used to. Also the meat was too chewy with some hard bits inside. No one of us wanted to finish our meal.... Came here for dinner, the place is very welcoming. Between the 4 of us, we ordered a lot of different food and everything was delicious! Great staff. Couldn't ask for more. Wouldn't expect to have an excellent Indian spot in Turks! A must try!

It was another break from the conch! The food was decent the service excellent. We are from NYC where we have Indian food on the regular. Basically spolied and our standards are high. The Tiki Masala was good not great lacked spice. The Saag Paneer was really good again lacked spice. The samosas were fair. The Naan was not good... More

Of course, in India there are several different kind of cuisines, it seems I am more like a North-Indian kind of food-guy. This place is not, for my taste both meals we ordered were too sweet, too tomato-based, the naan was too crispy, not fluffy at all. Again, not my cup of tea, yet perhaps better fits to your taste.... Dear Guests, Thank you very much for sharing your recent experience at Garam Masala and please accept our sincere apologies that the food was not as spicy as your taste preference. We are not a traditional North Indian restaurant and though some dishes are from the Northern part of India we have consciously kept the flavor high and the spice... More

Ate here with my wife...she broke out in hives, we had to literally run away. All the food is cooked with the same red powder spice, literally everything tastes the same and is way over spiced! We are Indian and I gotta say- worst I've ever had, and there are some really lousy places around the world... Shame, wasn't like... More
