I'd rather eat at a TGI Fridays. Food was basic and a bit overpriced. We were bummed as this was the only restaurant on the property. There are SO MANY better places to go on the island. Great place to drink though.

Have stayed at RWI twice and eat at Pelican Bay for convenience. Was disappointed in the service this trip. Just slow even when not crowded. The thing I liked the least though was having to pay $3 for a very small glass of tea and then not getting free refills. Unfortunately this is not the only place that does so.... More

This restaurant is in the Royal West Indies where I was staying. It's good for breakfast, fish, tacos and other basic dishes. Pelican Bay is good if you're staying at the resort and don't want to leave for a meal. It's nothing fancy but will do the trick.

We walked from our resort to this restaurant and were very disappointed. I was at the desk of our resort when a reservation was made for us. When we got there they did not have our reservation. We waited 40 minutes for bottled water. The food was just average and the food was over priced. We were charged for a... More

Long wait for food and service has a lot of room for improvement. Very pricey . We had two Greek salads and conch fritters and a bottle of mineral water $57.

I ate at the Pelican Bar a few times while staying at the Royal West Indies Resort. The fish tacos were amazing and quite plentiful! Great fries too! Happy Hours are a blast here as well - wonderful frozen drinks - try the Drunken Lobster! The bar staff are lots of fun and take good care of you. Well worth... More

Great American style breakfast, tasty coffee was a good starter for each day. We tried several choices for breakfast and found them uniformly good. Since this was our hotel restaurant we could begin our day early of beaching, snorkeling and exploring. We also tried the seafood buffet. We loved the conch appetizers, fried shrimp, and ribs were tasty.

The Pelican has a wonderful outdoor grilling cookout twice a week. Half the island had an eight hour power outage and they were still up and running with the grills outside. It is an all-you-can-eat deal for $55. The selections are many. The ribs are awesome and have won many awards. Also ate, grouper, jerk chicken, boiled shrimp, Shrimp pad... More
