On a recent trip to Provo we went to lunch at Las Brisas multiple times and every meal was fantastic! We enjoyed the lobster roll, snapper tacos, cheeseburger, lobster salad, snapper fish n chips, sweet potato fries (crispy delicious!) and onion rings (best I’ve ever...had). The staff were friendly, accommodating and attentive. It’s become our favourite while staying on Taylor Bay!More

We loved the food. My son had a giant cheeseburger. We had lobster and shrimp. Everything was delicious. Service was pretty good and a fun night.

In October, 2022, we rented a kayak from Las Brisas Restaurant to tour Chalk Sound. If you are intending to rent a kayak from Las Brisas and go out into the Chalk Sound, then please read this review. You may be renting a dangerous kayak...that could result in someone drowning. The Sit on Top kayak we were given was missing a drain plug in the hull of the kayak. As we paddled into the Sound, the hull began filling up with water. We didn’t realize it at the time, but we were sinking. 20 minutes later in the middle of Chalk Sound, we had to bail out of the kayak. The water on board was too much for us to paddle and turn. We bailed out. My wife was too short to touch the bottom of the sound and had to swim the better part of a mile back to shore. I'm 6'1" and could generally reach the bottom. I spent the next 40 minutes swimming, towing, and yanking the kayak back to shore before it had completely sunk. Two Las Brisas waiters and I spent the next 30 minutes getting the kayak onto dry ground and drained. I was bleeding from my forehead and arm due to the sharp limestone next to their pontoon boat. Once ashore, the restaurant staff told us the manager wasn’t available. She was friendly and hospitable when we arrived that morning, so we said we’d wait. We ordered two drinks. The bartender comped us the drinks. But the manager was still unavailable. So we sat down for lunch. My wife saw her return to the restaurant while we were waiting. But then she quickly departed without speaking to us. We asked again to speak with her, but were told, “she’s too busy.” We waited over an hour to speak with the manager but were told she was too busy, even though she returned to the restaurant while we were there. Too busy to speak with a customer. Too busy to ensure her kayaks are safe. There has been no response to the email I sent a week ago. This leads me to believe they do not want to take responsibility for their mistake and suggests that this will happen again with other guests in the future. My wife is a former lifeguard and was on her high school swimming team. We are both Advanced SCUBA divers and have kayaked in the Atlantic and Indian oceans. Someone who is not as comfortable or able in the water could drown if Las Brisas Restaurant rents them a kayak that, like ours, is not seaworthy. Las Brisas rents Perception Sit on Top Kayaks. According to the Perception Manual, "Always ensure that your drain plug is firmly in place before you take to the water." A customer has a reasonable expectation that a kayak is seaworthy, well maintained, safe, and prepared for the water. No customer would rent a kayak that was guaranteed to sink and put their lives at risk of drowning. The waiver we signed with Las Brisas does not absolve them of gross negligence. A respectable business would have the decency to apologize to a customer for renting them a kayak that put their lives at risk due to the mistake of the business. We received no apology, refund, or response from Las Brisas. Beware and be aware. If you rent a kayak from Las Brisas Restaurant, it may sink and you could drown. First pic is of our kayak after we drained it. This shows the missing drain plug. Second pic is of one of their other kayaks. They shoved a wine cork into the drain plug instead of an actual drain plug. Do not rent a kayak from Las Brisas. Someone could drown.More

This restaurant was absolutely beautiful. It was right on the water and the breeze felt good. There are alot of gluten free options and I didn't get sick. The staff is super friendly and the drinks were good. They have a pontoon boat you can...take out on the water. Adler is an awesome tour guide, took his time explained everything and made the ride enjoyable. You see wildlife and afew other things. It was about a 2 hour boat ride.More

Grilled lobster perfectly cooked with grilled vegetables with a glorious tiramisu dessert capped a marvelous evening overlooking the incomparable Chalk Sound. The sunset reflected off the continually changing colors of the sound. A really nice solo guitar provided marvelous entertainment. The restaurant seemed especially quiet,...the waiter said because the next week they were closing for annual vacation.More

One of the great picturesque places to eat on the island. The service is slow but why on earth would one be in a hurry in a place like this. The chicken wrap sandwich was delicious, the beer ice cold, the view fantastic. If you...have a car it's worth the tripMore

TLDR: Good food, good staff, great views. Be mindful of expensive drinking water. This review is based on a visit in August 2022 I will Review this in 3 parts: 1. The atmosphere 2. The food. 3.the service 1.The Atmosphere is great. there are lots...of little interesting quirks here. This is the only spot I could find that was open to enjoy Taylor Bay. The area was recommended to me by another tourist. all the beach access in the area seemed to be private access. this seems to be the only area that was accessible to the general population. The restaurant itself is cool. There is a pool Centre Stage on the main floor lounge chairs and a poolside bar. The main floor restaurant area had lots of tables and a few couches with a coffee table for a relaxed atmosphere. All the main floor seating is outdoors/open concept. However, on the day I was there, a huge rainstorm hit. The rain could not possibly have fallen any harder. rain was even blowing sideways. However, the management and staff were prepared. There is a clear plastic sheet that kept virtually all of the spray out. I was sitting at a table and was not significantly wet. I actually loved being able to experience the storm like that while still being able to eat and drink outside. The staff even brought my breakfast over under cover so it would stay warm and rain-free. Upstairs offered even more seating options and also includes the only indoor seating with yet the third bar. On the day i was there, this area was closed. I wonder if this space is only open during busy season or for special occasions/reservations. 2. The food came quickly and was warm. I ordered the French Toast (with blueberries and nutella). My partner ordered Eggs benedict on an English muffin with tomatoes(I'm not sure what it was called on the menu). My Meal was just enough for me, being a vegetarian and not having a big appetite partner said his meal was really filling and it was more than he was expecting. The downside of this was that the water was overpriced. I had still water (Evian brand 1L bottle i believe). He had Sparkling 1L bottle. I was offered two options for still water, bottle or something else (i forget what word was used. maybe a glass or tap. Water cooler sized bottles were visible). In Hindsight, I should have chosen the second option for water. Maybe it would have been cheaper. 3. The service was adequate. I felt valued as a customer, the host was very polite and pleasant. In fact all of the staff we encountered were pleasant. The staff were rock stars with dealing with the rain and took care of the water quickly to keep everyone safe from tripping. There was casual singing to make the rain go away and a general joking nature among the staff that trickled over with the guests. In summary, to have a unique dining experience along with a sweet pool to lounge/swim in with an incredible view, this could be the place for you. I would come here again and would recommend it to others.More
