Went there with my husband, had a great time. Service and food was great also. The only thing I didn't like was the shrimp was just plain and bland and I'm a person who loooves seafood. The host is very customer service oriented and he greets everyone to make sure everything is ok.

My wife and I had the tremendous pleasure of dining here for a Trinidad and Tobago Restaurant Week. The ambiance of the outside is very welcoming and were amazed to be greeted by the owner. From the owner to the staff, customer service was very warm, welcoming and amazing. No one appeared to be in a rush or overwhelmed even though the restaurant was packed (pre-covid). Ambiance, music and settings inside was also facilitating of the romantic evening we set out to have. The food was exceptional ....... tasty, delicious and fully satisfying. Absolutely recommend here hands down and can't wait for inhouse dining to resume to experience it again.

Pleasantly greeted by the door by the owner, friendly staff, experienced and patient servers who were able to enlighten us on the meals. Food was delicious. I recommend Joseph's signature lamb, succulent and well presented. The lemon and mint non-alcoholic drink was popular on our table. If you love Mediterranean food, this is definitely the place for you!

If you happen to be visiting Trinidad, make it a priority to have dinner at Joseph's. The prices are in line with many other restaurants, and the atmosphere is superior. The hummus with lamb and pine nuts was incredibly tasty, and the red snapper was just superb. I think the best I've ever tasted. So tender. Joseph and his son both took the time to visit our table to check in.

During a trip to Trinidad - we asked for a recommendation of some place to go for a nice dinner - several people quickly mentioned Joseph's - telling us we could get a nice steak or seafood dinner. We weren't disappointed in their food recommendation and the restaurant atmosphere was very nice as well It was all in all a lovely evening and my husband decided he indeed liked baklava after having tried it for the first time that night

This is probably my 3rd review of this restaurant over the past 12 years. The ambiance in Rookery Nook is superb (for Port of Spain) with seating available both inside and outside of the restaurant. Very friendly staff with Joseph and his family regularly making sure that your are comfortable and welcome. Good range of food available, well prepared and presented. Definately a must visit.

I went to josephs last night on an impromptu night out. What a treat it was. firstly to be greeted at the door by a friendly security guard and super friendly servers. I was impressed. Service throughout was excellent and they were mindful to be attentive but not in the way. Food was superb. my guest had the shrimp for appetizer and the duck breast for entrée and it was great. now I must say I had the beef which was cooked to perfection and the sauce was to die for. what was actually funny is the chef came out afterwards to point out he made a little error and instead of wine added port to the sauce, all I can say is please add port to my sauce from now on. dessert was great and the Lebanese wine which was suggested was perfect. I will be back next week with more guests as I had forgotten how great this little gem is.

Every year on our visit to Trinidad we revisit Joseph’s in this hub for exotic food. If you are looking for an experience rather than just a meal; you must give Joseph’s a try for authentic Lebanese/ Middle Eastern food. To each its particularity, its atmosphere, its charm. This restaurant is a family run friendly invite. Feel a warm welcome by the talented chef a man with infectious humility; “Joseph” his wife Helen and their enthusiastic son. There are those who prefer the unusual calm of a hidden gem, the sensation, so rare in Trinidad. A total renovation has revived the space the new decor is truly marvellous. A stone colour tiled floor, flanked by small tables with pendant light fixtures creating a warm halo over each table. It’s interior is reminiscent of Lebanon with its hanging display of pictures, contemporary furnishing and large glass paned doors leading outside to a lush and cool, modern furnished and sheltered terrace. A fully stocked bar with choice wines from Lebanon and the international front. This quiet secluded location ensures an unfailing, elegant and excellent dining experience with free on-site supervised parking. Talented Master Chef Joseph puts all his energy into his cuisine; all dishes are prepared daily by him. His dishes emphasizes fresh ingredients, a creative blend of Lebanese and Middle Eastern styles and influences; a gourmet’s paradise. These exquisite spices, the dominant feature, find their way into all dishes. To make it easier in this quest for the best Lebanese taste, here are some of our favourite selections.. of course classified accordingly to one’s desires: Appetizers: Labreh, Hummus, Fattouch, lamb/fish/chicken kibbeh, baba ghanoush Soup: pumpkin soup Entrees: Joseph’s Signature Lamb; A must!! Or the rack of lamb; Red Snapper Filet; Pan Seared Shrimp; Lobster tail and the succulent duck. Each entrée offers other surprises to complement the dish. The sauces with.. .. roasted garlic, chadon beni, pineapple tamarind chutney. Desserts include the legendary choice of crème caramel, crème brulee and of course baklava. Wine choice – Ask for a selected bottle of preferably Lebanese wine to compliment your meal. Great wine selection. The service – throughout the years Joseph’s waiters and waitress’ remain diligent in their friendliness, helpfulness, answers precisely questions about menus, clear plates, refill water, one never get the feeling of being rushed. The product is top notch, a fair price for quality and it is exceedingly comforting. A beautiful homage to the restaurant, Lebanon and times gone by. Brilliant. Joseph you are simply “a top notch chef in Trinidad”. Thank you; Valentine's dinner was exceptional!!.

It was the final night of our sojourn in Trinidad and friends took us there for dinner. To say it simply, it was five stars on all counts. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, the food was superlative in presentation, flavour and spice. We enjoyed the Lebanese wines, both red and white, finished with turkish coffee brought by Joseph himself. Such an endearing gentleman. What a pleasure it was to meet him. I look forward to going again on my next Trini visit.

It was a pleasure from the time we arrived to the time we left. The service was impeccable and the food excellent. The wine list could do with a little spruce up and they need to offer Pinot noir by the glass. But other than that we had a great meal and I would return.

pls only go to this restaurant if u belong to the same ethic group otherwise you would be neglected and ignored we had to beg for water , beg for drinks, saw others who came after us being attended as if our worth was nothing we arrived 6.40 got our main course 8.40 p.m. i wanted to die out of embarrassment to my guests yet the management keep on ignoring our needs - no service - it was horrible - the waiters needed proper training how to attend needs of paying customers i came there to be served and end up begging and pouring my own drinks im scarred for life and would not be going to any restaurant anytime soon the service industry in trinidad truly sucks
