As our guide book said, it is open very spotty. It only seems open when the have someone to run the place. The buildings are showing signs of neglect and need attention. Don't plan on going unless you KNOW they are open.

Situated right on the beach under the shade of the trees. Stone built small circular buildings with thatched roof and table in the middle. Just right for having a refreshing rum punch after a dip in the sea. What an idyllic location with beautiful views of the beach.

Saltwhistle Bay Club is right on the beach, giving people the perfect opportunity to have a casual lunch in their bathing suits after swimming in the most gorgeous waters. The owner and staff of the restaurant are very lovely and I was impressed at their menu choices given how laid-back I was expecting the meal to be. Unfortunately, our meal... More

One of the most beautiful bays in the world. A stop over for sailors and a throw back to the past. An absolutely beautiful spot in a remote part of the world. A must stop!

After having been closed for several years, an enterprising young French woman has reopened the Salt Whistle Bay Club restaurant. Her model is the fabulous French beach restaurants in St Martin, where one can get a beach chair, a perfect cold rose and a great piece of grilled fish. We had amazing conch ceviche and fritters a good rum punch... More

No food available, umm, not really able to make a cocktail today etc etc. What a shame, my most favourite place in the Grenadines but there is no enthusiasm from the staff and no management to encourage them.

What can I say???? The place is so over priced that you can fly to Bequia and eat, will be cheaper. The food gets a 1 on a 10th grade scale. The GM will smooth talk you in order to get a reservation without presenting a menu - read she will track you down at the beach. If you only... More

The Saltwhistle is located on the most lovely stretch of beach, with very unique stone and thatched roof tables that were beautiful and romantic, but not very functional. You could not move the table in, so I ate dinner perched on the edge of my stone seat (not the most comfortable). But I am jumping ahead in my story. Our... More

We visited here while chartering a 45' yacht in the Grenadines. It was my birthday and it started perfectly as we anchored in Saltwhistle Bay which is beautiful beyond words. The resort sits back from the beach under beautiful coconut palm trees. It blends in with stone walls and natural wood trim. We planned to celebrate my birthday with a... More
