SLIPWAY RESTAURANT, Carriacou Island

We had several meals here during our stay. The service and food was always excellent! And I don't usually like sweet/mixed drinks, but their pina colladas are delicious! :)

Best Meal In Grenada

Had an evening meal here during a recent two week tour of Grenada and the Grenadines. The restaurant has a great location next to the sea and handy for the customs office if your are clearing in or out. The food was absolutely stunning ....Local dishes but done to the highest standard. We had the tuna and Filet Mignon which absolutely fantastic in both quality and standard of cooking. No hesitation in recommending this place. Prices are also very reasonable with house wines also very good.More

Great situation overlooking the moorings

The best beefburger I've ever tasted ! good ambiance and a great view ,close to the boats in the bay. Friendly staff , shady and cool seating area.

Casual elegance

We had one very delicious meal at the slipway. A nice table right near the water with a steady breeze to keep us cool. Tuna was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly.

Probably our best meal during our visit

Kudos to TripAdvisor for pointing out this place to us. My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here. Very freshly prepared seafood. I had tuna while my wife chose swordfish. Turns out they make a very nice martini, as well; which, in my experience,...seems to be difficult to accomplish these days. Afterwards, the owner got us a taxi back to our hotel (The Mermaid). Her son is a taxi driver.More

Hard to Find But Worth It

Great restaurant with really good quality food, served well and in unique surroundings. Takes a bit of finding and the track down to it is very steep, worth it though

Lovely Food in relaxed location

Spent a week in Carriacou and went to Slipway Restaurant on number of occasions for both lunch and dinner. Never disappointed with flavour and preparation of the food..really loved everything on the menu. First time to try Lambi was here and it was lovely. Also...the best Pina Colada ever served here. And have to mention the bread which is made fresh each day here. Would come back for the bread alone!!! Thank you Kate.More

Good food

The thickest hamburgers and the skinniest French fries with a great view of Tyrell Bay. Conch fritters were delicious too.

Atmosphere nice, Food good, service by the Owner catastrophic!

Nice view and atmosphere, food good, , simple Menu, service by the Owner catastrophic! We visited with a small group of friends and the overall service was again unfriendly and our visit was not pleasant!

Sing a great tuna?

On our first day on Carriacou my partner and I literally stumbled into the Slipway whilst taking a midday stroll down the beach. Fish burger was on the menu so we ordered 2, but 1 without the bread roll. Wow! Best tuna steak ever! I...was expecting some, perhaps, breaded fish, but was served a perfectly grilled tuna steak with fries and salad. I dunno what it was marinated or cooked in, but it was sweet, spicy but not enough to overpower the tuna flavour. The staff and cook were attentive and welcoming. A great experience. Would I go back again? Watch this space for next years return trip!!More
