Hard Wood Bar is probably my most frequented bar/restaurant when I visit Carriacou. I frequently end up chit chatting with locals. A great relaxed atmosphere with fabulous view across Paradise beach over to Sandy Island.

We went there several times. It's the perfect holiday spot. Mile of beach, nobody on it. Shallow water, friendly folks and reasonably price tasty local lunches, mainly fish caught literally minutes ago! On a bus stop too.
You can smell the fish cooking from the beach, mouth watering.
Nothing ceremonial, just great home cooked food.
You can order your food before going in two a swim.
Mamma Joy, and staff are great, friendly and easy goining.

First of all...it would be a FANTASTIC idea for someone to put signs up about the Manchineel trees. OR for ANYONE to warn you about them. If there were a review page for Carriacou itself...I would write about my terrible experience with this tree.
