The first time we ordered the conch chowder and a seafood pasta but filled up on the chowder and bread, it was that big, tasty, and filling. Unlike most Caribbean conch chowder this is in a white sauce with conch and potatos and a taste so unique we tried to bribe them for the recipe. No luck so we will... More

Please don't waste your money going to this restaurant in Kingstown. The staff weren't interested in serving us . We waited ages for our drinks order to be taken only for the waitress to return asking us to repeat our order . My fiancé asked for the wifi code which she forgot to give to us and also forgot our... I've been going to Basil's for well over 30 years and have to say that it's one of the most memorable bars I've ever been to - but, sadly, it's not what it used to be though I understand that it has recently been taken over by new management and has improved somewhat. I fear that Basil, wonderful man though... More

I visited with a group twice for a business lunch at Basil's Bar. Ambiance is nice wand wait service is good. Both times it was a lunch buffet with average food but the salads were fresh. Price per person was around 60 Caribbean which is far too much for the quality of the food.

We were only there for drinks but the service was amazing. The bartender (Arnold I believe) was great. We got saltfish balls on the house which was mouth watering. Definitely the place to visit when in St. Vincent.

Basil's was being refurbished while we were on Mustique so we did not actually get to go inside. we were hoping it would open before we left, but unfortunately it did not. but just walking around the place filled me with excitment, I will be a regular in Basil's on my next visit to Mustique

As i stated above, very Caribbean. Really nice friendly community cafe, with the occasional beach party on a weekend. Good service

Very sad that Basil's was closed the day we went there. It's located on a very beautiful beach, so we ended up sitting on the beach. It looked like a very cool place.

Just as you land at the harbour. Very Caribbean rustic serving a nice selection of dishes on an island for the rich and famous.
