Nestled high up on Hamilton Estate, Bananas is well worth a visit. An earlier recce to visit the Hamilton ruins made it easy to locate in the dark. Christmas Eve with carollers ensured a special atmosphere. Well prepared food (but confusing winelist) and excellent service in a wonderful setting.

Nice restaurant, in an interesting location. Cater to vegetarians, with a nice but limited vegetarian menu). We didn't' make if for sunset but apparently the sunset view is amazing.

Great place! The setting is magical, and the food is fantastic. Great service, though far from cheap! You need to know about this place, or get a taxi (taxis certainly know how to find it): it was recommended by a person we talked to on the plane from Miami, who was a student at the veto nary college on St.Kitts,... Driving to Bananas in the dark is, well, a bit bananas but definitely worth it! Delicious food, gorgeous setting and a fun atmosphere. It's somewhat like dining in a funky, eclectic treehouse! The adjacent store provided a shopping opportunity which are few and far between on Nevis. Bananas, like most Nevis restaurants, is on the pricey side but it's a... More

I'll keep this review short. If you're in Nevis please do yourself a favour and go to Banana's. The lush surroundings and the amazing views on the drive up and not to mention to great food are worth every penny. Also, they make great cocktails.

We ate here as a family early in our week's stay on Nevis. The food was very good but also expensive (even by the standards of an expensive island on which to eat!). Not that easy to find but probably worth a special occasion.

Our favorite restaurant on the island...enjoy drinks from the deck, local flavors, art work and a very relaxed atmosphere.

This was such a gem. The food is my favorite on the island, the atmosphere is interesting and the birthdays are the best.

Bananas is an institution on Nevis and for good reasons. The food is good, the decor is romantic in a fun and vibrant way, the owner's dog will come by and say hi and you're sitting close to the other patrons. I wouldn't change anything. It was our second visit and most likely not our last.

The atmosphere and service is exceptional as is the dining experience. The food and drink are worth the trip even if using an island taxi. I could not imagine finding the place in the dark as it is nestled up on the mountain, on the south west side away from most everything. Island taxi drivers are a very patient lot,... More

Situated on the edge of the Rainforest Bananas is casual fun dining in a magical setting. We take our food very seriously but it is good home cooking prepared by hard working local ladies, not fancy or Gourmet.. However our menu is very creative and we use only fresh ingredients and where possible free range organic produce and meats. We have Magnificent Sunset views from our Firefly lounge and a superb selection of cocktails and old rums and a small selection of cuban Cigars.
