I've been there before but it was for a formal get together with my company and it was a good experience. So i decided to head back there again for the second time but with my girlfriend this time as this is the place where...it all began. Before going i made reservation and requested a beautiful view and seating for two. The service was great we were greatly nicely, had a winderful view of the town. The food was enough, we couldnt eat all, we had the chicken pasta which wasn't bad. It did take some time for them to service us though, only downside. But overall we both had fun we had a great time. It's a bit fancy and expensive, not for your avareage Joe.More

Came here on our first night on arrival in SK, being tired and wanting somewhere closeby. Quality of the food was not bad but overall was disappointing. One of our starters described as Seared Large Scallops, were the smallest we have ever seen, literally no...bigger than 2cm. My main pasta special was Chicken and pesto penne, it was definitely not special and was so largely comprising the pasta and not the chicken. Both of these dishes were overpriced for the value they represented. However, the place was quite busy and had a buzz so would try again but be more judicious on our choices.More

I went for my birthday and was excited because past experience was very satisfying. i was seated right by the entrance which was distracting and it took a while for our server to come and take our order. I order the conch chowder for my...starter and I was looking for the conchs. I found about 2 pieces. My waitress said she'll tell the chef but she never came back to update me on what he said. For my entree and had the seafood platter with jasmine rice. Now let me say I'm not a fan of jasmine rice so I have no idea why I ordered it but I did. Alas it came out super soft to the point of a porridge like consistency with a crisp outer shell, I was disappointed. However the seafood platter was delicious. the shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops and fish was well cooked and seasoned well. I was contemplating dessert but I had too many negatives to risk it. Oh and I stated prior it was my birthday and I didn't even get a "happy birthday". I was just very disappointedMore

A pricey restaurant with French Style cuisine. I had a Cesar salad that hardly had any dressing then for the main course I had the lamb which was excellent. My husband had the Lion fish which was nicely presented but he did not overly enjoy...the taste. We had the house wine which was nice. The service was good.More

The first time we came, the weather was perfect and you have an amazing view of the water. This year, we came for Valentine's Day. It was sooooo windy this week, so they had the clear wind-blockers down. The view wasn't as great. BUT... The...service was impeccable, as always... so kind... and the food is delicious! Years ago, everyone had lion fish. This time? this was the only place we found it. You won't go wrong here... I promise!More

It seems to be a popular place and a reservation is advisable. We had an excellent dinner there and enjoyed the crab and shrimp pattie and the nage of scallop, shrimp, mussels & grouper as starters and the delicious lamb curry (having an Indian touch)...and the fillet of grouper. As the portions are not small, we had to skip the desserts.More

This place was recommended by one of the staff at the neighboring hotel, OTI. In a word —- phenomenal! We actually ate there twice. The service was good and the food was fantastic. If you go, bring your appetite or you will have quite a...bit left on your plate. You will not be disappointed.More

The food is good. But the service is terrible. We had a 3 course dinner there and wine, before you finished they put the bil on the table, and we still wants a coffee with a grand manier, but they kick you out of there,...it was 9.15. They are not friendly ar all. I never go again.More

Beautiful view from table. The service was great and the food was very good, if a little pricey. Fresh fish and seafood.

We are on our first time visit to St. Kitts. Prior to traveling we did a lot of research to find the best restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We thought Serendipity fit the bill and would help finish a terrific day of activities on...a lovely island. This restaurant failed on just about all counts. Here are the specifics. Our appetizers included Spanish grilled octopus, fried calamari and I had the daily special pumpkin soup as my main course. My husband’s main course was a surf and turf, but that will be described later. The octopus dish was served in a small cast iron pan filled with lots of different elements. It looked very appetizing. Unfortunately looks were absolutely deceiving in this instance. The entire dish was largely tasteless. The octopus was tender, but that’s the best I can say. The calamari, described as light and with a garlic aioli, was not particularly light, nor did the aioli have any hint of garlic. The pumpkin soup was tasty enough, but the worst was yet to come. My husband’s surf and turf consisted of an alleged black angus strip loin steak, and 4 grilled shrimp. It is the first dish my husband has returned to a kitchen in over 40 years, describing the dish as inedible. The steak was all gristle and fat, and literally could not be cut. Now, while it’s true that the waitstaff failed to provide a steak knife, my husband was sure that this steak would have resisted a meat grinder. The proprietor knew that this was a birthday celebration. The wait staff was inattentive, the food was indifferent, and while the location was lovely, the competition between the restaurant stereo and the neighbor’s booming stereo, playing different music, really served to diminish the ambience. My husbands main dish was so terrible, that he had no faith in trying an alternative entree, including even a salad. Perhaps that’s unfair, but that’s the reality of the experience. We completed the meal with a banana creme brûlée, that must have left the bananas in the kitchen, because they certainly didn’t make it into the creme brûlée. And the espresso was weak as well. All in all we would not recommend this restaurant to anyone...despite all the general promising reviews that many trip advisor reviewers had to say. one last thing, this experience was so disappointing that my husband insisted that we write this review on the same evening as this abysmal meal. That’s got to tell you what a bad impression it made.More
