One night we wanted a light dinner and we decided to go to the Cafe Calypso. The restaurant is closed for dinner. This I do not understand at all. The other three restaurants are expensive and this cafe/restaurant is reasonable (for a tourist hotel) There are tables outside but there is no effort to make the tables attractive. We had... More

We went here for lunch twice. The service was horrible, taking an average of half an hour to get the food once ordered. The menu was sparse and by the end of the second day, everyone was finished with going to this place again!!!! It seems to be better for breakfast, as it is full, for lunch there were only... More

We decided to grab something here one evening for dinner as we didn't feel up to going out. Had the Caesar salad which was fantastic and a Cuban sandwich, not so great. Aslyn was our server and she was very helpful. On another day, we tried some of their pastries and were happy to see bottled Iced tea but the... More

Great little place to grab a bite to take to the beach or stop on the way back from the beach. I absolutely fell in love with their huge, thick oatmeal cranberry cookies and had them for breakfast almost every morning I was there while my daughter did the same with the beef patties. Just wish we could find them... More

As someone else mentioned, Cafe Calypso is actually the deli at the entry to Calypso Restaurant, which is what I'm reviewing here. While the food was generally quite good, it was too bad they offered powdered scrambled eggs - that was the only con amidst lots of pros. This is a great place to eat a hearty breakfast on a... Though we were staying at a nearby condo, we treated ourselves to a big buffet breakfast at the Calypso Restaurant at the Marriott on our last vacation day. The selection was vast and the food was delicious. Would definitely come back for this buffet breakfast, albeit a bit on the pricey side. Having said that, we did go back for... More

The Café Calypso is the deli style food counter just outside the Calypso Restaurant inside the Marriott. The counter offers premade sandwiches for both breakfast & lunch alone with items such as fresh fruit, coffee, yogurt and a nice selection of baked goods. The food is good but the prices are on the high side. Service is usually friendly but... More

Not indicating that I am a very picky person , but i felt that i needed to share , this restaurant is located in a very good location, the atmosphere is great, Food was on point and however there were few things that needs a little attention. We were greeted at the door with a warm smile and were asked... More

The service is very slow unless you do the buffet which is good but pricey if you are not all that hungry. Also the 5AM to go breakfast advertised in the hotel elevator was not available.

Gteat food but extremely slow...getting waitress....getting drinks.....and food, If you are waiting to fly out, I wouldn't suggest unless you have plenty of time. Food quality is good on the plus side.
