I took a two week course at the law school next door over the winter holiday and was really excited to find vegan food on the island. It is high quality, tasty, veggie food. As a vegetarian this was a true treat- because so many places on the island are very meaty and greasy. I stopped in here several times,... More

After a heavy meaty Cayman Christmas...my Love and i headed to this vegan restaurant for some food redemption. Needed some clean food. Here we have Vegan Sheppard Pie and Breakfast Plate with Tempah Bacon. Superb!

I'm not easy to please, but I really like this place. My wife loved it. The food was delicious and fresh which is always a surprise near the cruise ship dock.

We have been here several times. The consistency of their product is second to none. A lot of love and passion go into this place and it shows in their menu and service. Of course I always get the bread and chocolate which is french toast, stuffed with chocolate hazelnut butter, bananas, and some fresh fruit. Add the coconut ice... More

Very small vegetarian cafe in the center of George Town . Within walking distance of the main cruise shopping area. If driving, note that parking is free downtown. Enjoyed the food very much. This appears to be a popular option with the local workers.

Went in here for lunch. I had Shepards pie, wth red beets instead of meat, spicy and very good. I drank apple and ginger juice - I think you could get addicted. Their signature dish is the chocolate and banana sandwich with vanilla ice cream, and a guest at our neighbour table told us it was fantastic - she ordered... More

I'm vegan and my husband is "a spousal vegan" and we do A LOT of travelling. Plus I'm a pretty good, quite creative cook. As a result, I have high expectations. I ordered the breakfast plate with tempeh bacon and every individual thing on it was very, very good and very, very flavourful. In fact, the roasted root vegetables were... More

My husband and I split the breakfast tacos and it was just the right amount of food. Really fresh and delicious. Tasty guacamole. Friendly service. Didn't realize it was a vegan restaurant but worked out fine for us.

Modern. Responsible. Delicious. Bread and Chocolate is the first full-service vegan restaurant in the Cayman Islands providing healthy all-day breakfast and lunch alternatives for health-conscious and eco-conscious diners. All breads, desserts, sauces etc. Are made in house. Organic and local produce featured where and whenever possible. Located in the centre of the financial district of George Town. Parking is very limited so plan for a short walk from your car if you drive any day other than Saturday (loads of street parking available on weekends). Bus terminal is next door so it is strongly encouraged to take one of the municipal "buses" which are, for the most part, mini-vans with stickers on them - the EE (East End) bus is more of the typical style bus. Taking the bus is greatly encouraged since it's better for the environment, way cheaper than a cab and is a unique experience on it's own. Some pay parking available at the Town Centre Plaza on Albert Panton Street and behind Bayshore Mall. Table service and take out available. Open Monday through Friday from 8 a.M. To 4 p.M., Saturdays, Sundays and most public holidays from 9 a.M. To 2 p.M.
