This place is a consistent goos performer. Their steak was good, servers were fantastic. Price is fantastic. I've never used the service but if you're a traveller in Cayman, know that they offer airport transfer which is kindda neat. That's under one mile ride but the offer for a lift must be worth it. They have good fritter bread to... More

I was very disappointed on my most recent visit to GTYC. The food is always good, my favorite being the ceviche. However, the service seems to have slipped to below average and I can only guess that it is due to poor management. We sat outside to listen to the music and had to ask to be served. Three people... My friends had a two hour delay for their flight so we decided to check in bags and because the GTYC Yacht Club is so very close to the airport we decided to have a last lunch together. We were greeted with smiles and warmth, so very lovely. We had Conch Ceviche, Calamari and the best Shepherds Pie worthy of... More

The waits were too long along 7 mile beach for a Friday night dinner so we drove to the George Town Yacht club. The food was great. I had the seafood chowder which was wonderful!!

Have had lunch at the yacht club twice recently and each time it was delicious. Dining inside was cooler with the AC but then we went out and sat watching the yachts come in.it was so relaxing and a nice way to enjoy the time before returning to the airport. There's a free shuttle to and from the airport.

As regulars we are normally blessed with good service and good food. Today was not good. We booked a table a couple of weeks ago for a special birthday. We arrived and they had messed up the reservation. Also No table menu today - only a self service buffet. Nothing familiar and while there was a good choice it was... More

The food is absolutely delicious!!!! We can't wait to get there for a bite every time we visit. View is beautiful, staff is courteous, drinks are delicious. It is a little paradise in a paradise! Highly recommend that you get off the tourist's beaten path and find this place! Locals know it well!

Its a great setting and a nice stop from the airport. Food is average, drinks average. I hasd Coconut Shrimp and they were small, hard and not much taste. I've been there a few other times and not memorable other than being right on the water in the Georgetown Yacht Club.

We have been here at least 15 times and it is always perfect! We often go for breakfast which is great value and very tasty. Seated outside, followed by a quick dip in the pool - there is nothing more relaxing!

Great place to enjoy before your flight. We dropped out bags 11am for a 4pm flight. Great no stressful way to end the vacation.

Description
The George Town Yacht Club (GTYC) is located on the waterfront at The Barcadere Marina, Grand Cayman. Conveniently located next to the airport, with a FREE shuttle running every 15 minutes, it is a great place to spend time waiting for a flight. It is accessible by land or sea, with plenty of parking for your car or boat, and is the perfect place to relax after a day out on the water, unwind after a day in the office, share your fish stories, or simply hang out with good friends. The menu is appealing to all tastes with an emphasis on local seafood, from conch ceviche to our daily fresh catch, and our famous flame grilled dishes served with your choice of sides. Of course, lunchtime favourites such as burgers and wings are offered or, for those with a lighter palate, the salads are outstanding.GTYC is also an ideal place to host parties, functions and events, either poolside or inside. The private clubhouse and scenic balcony are available to individuals, companies, service clubs and other organizations, to host fishing tournaments, birthday, Christmas and New Years Eve parties, wedding receptions, business meetings, seminars, charitable and cultural events or any other casual, or formal, function.
