Went there for the first time for lunch and wondered why we didn't visit them before. I had the lamb shoulders and it was phenomenal. The place is really lovely as well. Would 100% be back; I think it's my new favorite place!
My friends and I were in Grand Cayman for a week and we ate/drank here almost every night. Food was delicious and drinks were stout. And if you’re in town Monday you have to do their brunch. It was PHENOMENAL.
The whole staff was awesome...and courteous as well. The bartender Michael was also superb each and every time. He helped us in a lot with making the best of our trip.More
Family of 4 decided to have dinner here on a whim — we were very happy with Fidel’s Public house at lunch, so thought we would give The Kitchen a try. So glad we did! Had an amazing steak, the oxtail burger was perfect, the...Mac and Cheese side was wonderful. Service could not have been better. Small, very cozy interior. One of our favorite places on the island, will definitely be back!!More
Like another reviewer, we thought we were going into Fidel Murphys for breakfast as these two restaurants are next to each other separated by a courtyard....but evidently the same owner. We had a WONDERFUL breakfast here because it was not the usual fare and was...prepared by a wonderful young chef "John". He, Mike and Simone (he's Italian, you know...just ask him) were wonderful company while we sat at the bar and watched Wimbledon. The food really was exceptional, and John just removed a stuffed pork roast from the oven that smelled heavenly. For something different for breakfast or for lunch/dinner/drinks this is a really enjoyable place. Will be back as soon as we get back there! Thanks for being such a fun part of our vacation, guys!More
We went to the kitchen @ fidels recently and it was amazing. We tried a couple of the specials and the house cured charcuterie as well as a cocktail or two! it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and attentive and the decor is great,...love all the family and friends pictures on the walls, gives a great personal touch! Would definitely recommend.More
This was my first time to the Kitchen and I loved it. We had a blood orange Margarita. At Michael, the bar tenders suggestion. He was dehydrating blood oranges for garnishes and it smelled so lovely, we asked for something with that in it. It...was divine!
The menu had loads of interesting options. Tried the Cow Balls for the heck of it. Very tasty!
Will definitely be back.More
Location is easy, right next to Fidel Murphy’s (same owner).
Ambiance nice, lots of wood, but relatively small crowd during the week. If you want lots of action probably better next door at the pub. We like to be able to hear each other so...nice.
Excellent service, and the waiter took time to speak with us and give some personal and restaurant background.
My wife had an excellent fish dish, a little spicy. I had a generously portioned pork hock that was outstanding. We also tried homemade sausage, again excellent.
The only thing holding us back from 5 stars is just the heavy focus on meat. If you like that then it is 5 stars.More
