I enjoy the food at Wellys but the service is very slow. I would still recommend going to this spot to try the oxtail, curry and fish dishes. They increased their prices last year but service portions are generous. If in George Town you can try it. Good luck trying to call in an order for pick up!

You can find typical Cayman or Jamaican food, I liked the pork ribs. I spent 15 dollars, so it's cheap and good, also the restaurant is clean.

The quality of food in this place really something. So much so that I came in for lunch two days in a row; not something I normally do on vacation. The staff on the other hand needs some training in customer service. For best results call in your order, pick the food up and eat it elsewhere. Lastly, the girl... More

Authentic Jamaican and local dishes. Best to pickup as they only have a few tables and most things are not cooked to order so the wait isn't long...they may not answer their phones because they are always busy. Try the oxtail.

Your best stop to have a small lunch Before your Dinner at night, please note that the small lunches are large enough to have for lunch anything more is too much..it may spoil dinner.

So some friends and I decided we wanted wellys on day, I called in a half hour earlier to place our order knowing how slow they are. I came in to pick up the food and it wasn't even ready, I had to wait 20 minutes for my food, On top of that they messed up my order and felt... More

I went with a local. She ordered me oxtail and beans and rice. It was my first time eating oxtail. It was good but not alot of meat. The beans and rice were good as was the potato salad. The dining room decor was simple. Bathrooms just OK.

On the recommendation of lots of friends we have just had take out from Wellys. I can only assume that that are having an off day. Curried chicken actually didn't have much meat being 80% fragmented bone. The rice and peas was hard, dry and overly salted. the snapper was okay ish(not escovitch). BBQ chicken dry , small portion, little... More

You have to be adventurous and like Jamaican food. Wonderful oxtail soup and curried goat. Difficult to find local food on an island like Grand Cayman

If the locals full the place, then it must be good! My wife had the chicken curry. I was a bit more adventurous and went with the oxtail and beans. They did not disappoint. Rich, delicious, authentic food at a great price.
