Average at best. Went for a light dinner and had the West Indian Curry w/shrimp, Shrimp Quesadilla and Key Lime Pie. There were not many shrimp in either main dish and the Key Lime pie tasted like a butter custard. Disappointed!!

We all know how hard it is to staff any restaurants these days, never mind one on an island in the Caribbean! So I try to give the wait staff a little extra leeway right now.
That said, a resort with the scale of Morritt's Tortuga needs to provide service in keeping with its reputation. There was only one waiter for all the tables in this dockside restaurant, and he was clearly overtaxed. Our party of 10 was seated promptly, but service was hit or miss after that. When orders were taken, one order was completely lost. When the meal was belatedly delivered, the fried fish was undercooked.
The food in general was fine. But with many other interesting dining options in range, I would look elsewhere.

Mimi’s Dock Bar and Restaurant is a very nice place to enjoy a light dinner on the dock over the water. We each had a small side salad and the pulled pork quesadillas and shrimp quesadillas to share. The shrimp quesadillas were wonderful. Moist and flavorful! Unfortunately the pork quesadillas were extremely dry and not much flavor. If we had a do-over we both agreed, order the shrimp quesadillas and skip the pork quesadillas!!!

Friends and I stopped over for drinks and lunch after my husband’s dive with Tortuga Divers (the boat was docked just behind Mimi’s). Good frozen drinks and lots of shade at the bar. Not bad for a little midday jaunt. Mimi’s is located behind Morrits Resort which makes it a bit of a hike from the parking. You have to hoof it a bit through the resort (in ear-shot of poolside Bingo! Ha) and then down to the dock. Just something to know if you have concerns around accessibility. There is also a really dangerous ramp leading into the bathroom (also on the dock) which seemed a more dicey than beneficial! Anyway, you can check out the fish, take a dorky picture with the pirate statue…probably a good spot if you had a couple of kids in tow. For us adults, we just had a few yummy frozen drinks and filled our bellies. The music was also particularly good the day we were there (if you’re an old fart like us and like 90’s hop-hop, then you’re in luck).
Would return.

We ate here twice - margarita burger, salad with grilled chicken, fish n chips, black bean burger - were our entrees. The best was the margarita burger and grilled chicken salad. The wait staff was awesome, though - extremely attentive and very friendly.

Love this spot for lunch. We always eat here when we stay at our timeshare units. We love the Watermelon salad, the chicken quesadillas, the burgers and the pulled port sandwich is fantastic! We can order food at the pools from this restaurant ! It has a nice view and is over the water where fish swim waiting to be fed! Nice spot!

Beautiful spot with wonderful views and good food. We enjoy this restaurant for lunch and get takeout from here sometimes. We like the views and all of the fish that swim around. The staff tries hard and do their best and are friendly. They could have a few more items on the menu to switch things up as it gas been the same menu for years but it still is pretty good!

My sister and I are staying at Morritt's, so this is easy. It was breezy, so carry wrap. We had bar food. Both chicken and pork quesdillas were yummy, as was the fish ceviche with chips.
The tarpon swim under the bridge area, which was fun to watch.

We had a simple dinner here and the food was very good. Staff super friendly and helpful. Also, great sticky pudding for dessert It's worth the drive for the views and food. Also fun to see the tarpon and other fish while you eat!

We had lunch when doing an island drive about. We had shrimp quesadillas and fish and chips and all was good. The weather was perfect for sitting outside on the day we went and it’s so much fun watching the tarpon and other fish that stay right by the dock. We also had some frozen drinks which were nice. Would recommend this place for lunch.

Waiting almost an hour and a half for two quesadillas. Not worth it in my opinion. A great atmosphere for partying, and a friendly staff, but slow and the food isn't great. Go for drinks, and leave before dinner.

We went to this place twice while we were staying in the East End. Great cocktails and food and fun bartenders. Some great snorkeling under the pier also. You can snorkel then walk up the ladder and sit right at the bar. Doesn't get much better than that.

Bartenders are very friendly and fun activities to do there as well. Last night was Karaoke night and it looked like a lot of people enjoyed themselves.
