Return visit did not disappoint!

We visit Grand Cayman every February and have been visiting Blue Cilantro since 2013. It remains our favorite spot on the island for a spectacular meal, wonderful service, and just an overall great experience. My husband did the tuna this time and I did the Mediterranean Paella, which is my go-to... read more

Was disappointed in the raviolli: The pasta was not the "melt in your mouth" type which is typical of pasta made with many egg yolks a la Lidia Bastianach (NYC) and the sauce was not smooth and seized up when cool. Shrimp cooked in garlic sauce were excellent and the size of prawns but would also suggest garlic sauce on... More

My house guest and I were tired after a long day of diving. We wanted good food both for a vegan (me) and a meat eater. We wanted to try a place that was new to me for her special almost last night visiting me. We chose Blue Cilantro on a whim. It was the BEST, BEST ever, even though... More

Great service. Amazing food! The stuffed flatbreads are phenomenal! Cocktails were fantastic! Overall a solid A for a restaurant. If you're torn between blue cilantro and Agua across the street, Agua is probably slightly better. But the appetizer flatbread here at blue cilantro with the chutneys truly is delicious!

Have been coming to Blue Cilantro for years during our visits to the island, and this place never dissapoints. Creative interpretations of classic dishes, beautifully executed, with outstanding service in a beautiful space. What more can you ask for?

The waitstaff were wonderful and attentive. The food was good, but I guess I expected a little bit more after reading other reviews. The pumpkin ravioli was tasty, but I've had comparable other places. It was an enjoyable experience (although the AC made us put our sweaters on), and desert was excellent.

My top favorite restaurant to date... Beautiful presentation of the courses and they tasted even better than they looked!

We dined at BC twice during our 10-day stay on GCI. It's tied with Agua for the food product and slightly ahead of Agua for atmosphere. Both times my wife had the roasted whole snapper, which was outstanding. I had it once and then the paella. Very unusual presentation and super tasty dish -- no one flavor dominated. Service was... While we certainly enjoyed our share of more traditional restaurants while in Cayman, it was a true treat to have a more sophisticated culinary experience at Blue Cilantro. This is much more of a "foodie" restaurant, which we absolutely love. The entire appetizer list looked amazing, but we settled on a selection of freshly made stuffed clay oven breads. The... More
