We went for taco Tuesday where it is $7 for two of the standard tacos and $7 for margaritas. My husband got chicken tacos which he enjoyed. His were on flour tortillas and included salsa, guacamole and sour cream. I ordered from the regional tacos menu which is not part of the special but I had the urge for Chile Rellenos. These were soft taco shells with a Chile relleno in the middle topped with chicharrones. It was impossible to pick up and eat without raining chicharrones on your lap so I used a knife and fork. They were quite good, just didn’t need the soft taco part of it. We had several of the classic margaritas. They were not top shelf but fine as long as you did not get them frozen. I tried one frozen one and it mostly tasted like ice. Since we only had the two tacos each, we decided to share the churros. We only got two and after eating them wished we had gotten more. They were so good, freshly cooked and perfect. They came with a wonderful chocolate sauce and ice cream but honestly we just wanted the churros plain and then ate the ice cream with chocolate on it. It would be a yummy dessert on its own. We ate inside because it was pretty warm evening. It appears that people are welcome to draw and write on the walls and there were some entertaining drawings. A pleasant evening.

I saw an ad for 2 tacos for $7 and $7 margaritas on an ad somewhere in a map of the island. I casually mentioned to our group that Taco Tuesday was a thing and next thing I know we were all visiting that evening. This place had the best vegetarian tacos I've ever eaten. Everyone else seemed to think that the tacos were average (no one ate vegetarian tacos but me). I liked them so much we returned to have Taco Thursday the same week. I'd say it's worth a visit on a Tuesday or Thursday. The tacos seem pricey at $7 each. They are rather small. However, I will say that you have to order two of the same kind. So most of us ordered 4 and could not finish them. (Okay, I finished mine but it was a BIG mistake because then I felt overstuffed for the remainder of the evening.) The margaritas were a different story. Most in my group ordered multiple margaritas so no problems there!

Amazing food. Sad they have moved from the East End to Seven Mile Beach area but the food is still amazing and currently it seems to be a bit unknown. Tuesdays and Thursdays are 2 tacos for $7 and $7 margaritas. Hurry in, amazing food, no crowds.

This was my second visit to Taco Cantina. My wife and I liked the food on our first visit. However, the service was so so. the Servers appear confused. I think in most cases English is a second language not well grasped. Food orders came wrong and in some cases table bingo was being played where the servers did not know whose meal it was. Another reviewer mentioned nice staff but slow. I totally agree. I have other friends who have gone and they told me the same stories. I suggest that the management make a serious go at training servers and try to hire servers with a great understanding of english. If service is so so or poor you will lose customers quickly at a place that shows great potential.

We arrived quite late when other local restaurants had closed their kitchens. We didn’t know about Taco Cantina but it was lucky for us that our original choice was closed. We were made to feel very welcome at Taco Catina. The food was excellent. We ordered a glass of Prosecco. This was delivered promptly. The bar man motives that the wine had been opened a bit earlier and so the wine was slightly flat (still tasted fine), but he immediately replaced it with a fresh glass without us having said anything, the original glass was fine. Shows customer service above and beyond. Can highly recommend.

I can't rave enough about this place and the service! We visited twice during our week long stay in GC. Claudia was our server both times and was amazing! Both visits we both ordered the same thing as it was so good the first time! We both ordered Gringo & Jerk Chicken tacos as well as the Fried Cheese app. You have to try the sauces that cheese comes with - AMAZING! I ordered extra to put on my tacos they were so good! This hidden gem offers an amazing bar selection, so be ready to try some options you probably won't find at most places on the island if looking for tequila!

It was a Tuesday. Sooooo..... ;) The mahi mahi was a little dry, but had an excellent flavor. The coconut shrimp was pretty good. The Lion fish was outstanding! Sweet, moist, delicious. You have got to try this.

Promptly greeted. Wait Staff good. We were seated outside. Highway noise was loud. Restaurant was playing Latin music trying to mask road nose which only made it worse. Margarita's were just ok. A bit overpriced, served in an old fashion glass. Ordered chips and dips. Chips were stale. Guacamole was sour. salsa was mostly tomato and tasteless. Nothing special about the crema or the beans. Tacos were more filler than primary ingredient. All in all there are better places you can visit for a decent taco and margarita.

Our experience at Taco Cantina was hard to beat! Tuesdays and Thursdays are two for one tacos and two for one drinks from 4 to 6. We went with our party of 8 and everyone left happy! The peanut chicken and gringo tacos were the bomb, but all kinds were very good. The service was good ... especially considering they were very busy. I highly recommend paying Taco Cantina a visit.

The 2 for 1 taco special from the standard taco menu on both Tuesday and Thursday is very popular. Several locals recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Tacos and margaritas were great, good quality, fair pricing, The atmosphere is fun and vibrant, service is good. Will return for something other than tacos next time.

This is a little expensive for the food except on Tuesday and Thursday when Tacos and Margaritas are half off. The regular margaritas are perfect. The best taco is the peanut chicken followed by the magi. Worth it on Tuesday and Thursday

We ended eating here twice during our five day trip to Gran Cayman, we really enjoyed the food and the service. Our first night, Jose was our waiter, and he gave us some great recommendations. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed our food. My favorite tacos were the pork and the Chicken and peanut, delicious. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the island.

We love the other two restaurants owned by this proprietor, Tukkas and Eagle Ray, also on the East End, but, unfortunately, Taco Cantina misses the mark for us. We have been a couple of times now and finally have decided we have tried enough of the menu. If you like “experimental” Mexican food you might like this but we would just have loved a good enchilada or relleno. This is not that..In fairness, the name is Taco Cantina, and thus most of the menu is devoted to tacos. Parrotfish tacos, alligator tacos and other kinds of exotic and not so exotic tacos. They are well prepared but for roughly six dollars a taco I would like something spectacular! Service is good, very friendly and efficient and drinks are delicious. We just yearn for good ol Mexican food, even Tex mex...so, will keep looking. Do try Tukkas or Eagle Ray though. Both are great, but Tukkas is outstanding!

Hubby had one of their specials which was the lobster bowl( included 4 tails!!). - he loved it and would highly recommend it!! I had conch taco and turtle turtle as I love to try local and would easily recommend. Staff great at explaining and very attentive. Our big draw back was we didn’t go during happy hour and get in on the great daily specials
