I went there with a few friends. The food was amazing. I had some fajitas. They were not what I was expecting but it was still really good. The environment is more casual and fun. (My friends enjoyed the beers there)

We ended eating here twice during our five day trip to Gran Cayman, we really enjoyed the food and the service. Our first night, Jose was our waiter, and he gave us some great recommendations. There were 5 of us and we all enjoyed our...food. My favorite tacos were the pork and the Chicken and peanut, delicious. We will definitely be back on our next visit to the island.More

We were there on the 2:1 night and the food was great. I didn't like sitting outside by the restaurant's fan; so maybe stay indoors. The blender drinks were really good.

Had dinner hear last night and the food was delicious! My husband said his lobster fajitas were the best he has ever had!!! It’s very small and gets crowded very quickly. So you might call first for a reservation.

Hubby had one of their specials which was the lobster bowl( included 4 tails!!). - he loved it and would highly recommend it!! I had conch taco and turtle turtle as I love to try local and would easily recommend. Staff great at explaining and...very attentive. Our big draw back was we didn’t go during happy hour and get in on the great daily specialsMore

This is the perfect spot for lunch after diving with Ocean Frontiers. They have a wide variety of excellent tacos, fresh ceviche, and fruit margaritas. Be sure to stop by on Tuesday or Thursday for the two-for-one tacos and margaritas. Expect to wait a bit...for your food because they make it fresh. I eat gluten-free and there were plenty of tacos with grilled meat or fish and simple ingredients served on corn tortillas. They are also willing to switch tacos they usually make with flour tortillas to corn if you ask. I particularly liked the parrotfish tacos and shrimp ceviche. The kangaroo tacos were also good. My favorite margarita was the sugar-free one, which is the classic mix of tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.More

We love the other two restaurants owned by this proprietor, Tukkas and Eagle Ray, also on the East End, but, unfortunately, Taco Cantina misses the mark for us. We have been a couple of times now and finally have decided we have tried enough of...the menu. If you like “experimental” Mexican food you might like this but we would just have loved a good enchilada or relleno. This is not that..In fairness, the name is Taco Cantina, and thus most of the menu is devoted to tacos. Parrotfish tacos, alligator tacos and other kinds of exotic and not so exotic tacos. They are well prepared but for roughly six dollars a taco I would like something spectacular! Service is good, very friendly and efficient and drinks are delicious. We just yearn for good ol Mexican food, even Tex mex...so, will keep looking. Do try Tukkas or Eagle Ray though. Both are great, but Tukkas is outstanding!More

Went for the Thursday 2 for 1 taco special. A few of the tacos were good with the best being the gringo or chicken or pork with pickled onion. Fun server.

This is a little expensive for the food except on Tuesday and Thursday when Tacos and Margaritas are half off. The regular margaritas are perfect. The best taco is the peanut chicken followed by the magi. Worth it on Tuesday and Thursday

The food and the tacos are great. The tacos are not traditional but are very interesting and have great flavors. The appetizers are also great. We continue to come back when we are on the island.
