We had a good meal here the other day. They cooked the fish and lobster we had caught with a local guide earlier that day for free which was kind. The wild rice with kidney beans was lovely and the fresh vegetables were a welcome dish after days at sea. The lobster was lovely and my children enjoyed the chicken... More

You have to do a lobster dinner while in Anegada, and this is a great place for it! Call well before 4 PM for reservations.

Your dinner order needs to be placed in advance however that doesn't mean you will be served timely much less what you ordered. Do not order any steak item. Not sure which animal they have chosen to use but it didn't taste or appear to be a cow. Side orders came out after the main course was eaten for those... More

Sam the proprietor serves up grilled lobster that is very tasty. Served with basic sides of salad, wild rice and streamed mixed vegetables. Our service was friendly and at a nice pace. You need to preorder your meal when you make a reservation. There is one seating at 7:30 pm for dinner. Campy, very casual, you dine at picnic tables.... More

We dropped in on Potter's Bar after a period of 14 years to find that Sam is now the licensee. Sam has played it well and he has a great "go-to" bar in this remote spot in the Western Atlantic. The Painkiller was very tasty and Sam fixed us up with everything we needed during a two day stay.

We loved and and thoroughly enjoyed this rustic jem. Right on the sea they take your lobster orders by 4 and cook fresh on an open BBQ/fire drum. Wonderfully sweet, even my husband who is not a big fan said it was delicious. Sam took good care of us. Thanks Sam !!

Had to make reservations by 4:00 pm for 7:00pm setting. Place was packed... every table gets a salad served at once, followed by 2 bowls of vegtables, and 2 bowls of rice/beans or baked potato then our main course. Ribs were excellent and enough that I took home half the meal for the next day. DJ played fun music and... More

When I want lobster, I either want south African cold water lobster tails or New England live Maine whole lobsters. I have had some really lousy spiney lobsters elsewhere. This restaurant is the best place to have the lobster experience in Anegada! Perfectly seasoned with garlic butter and paprika, then grilled perfectly. I had the 2 pound split lobster that... More
