Setting was beautiful. Half the menu was sold out. Servers were not friendly or customer oriented. Expensive. Not great but again you are in paradise so get used to the bad service.

We went to enjoy the the Anegada Lobster Festival. The service was excellent. The best lobster ever eaten at the Caribbean. They comply with all the security related to COVID 19. The restaurant employees were very friendly.
Oh my, the cocktails here will get you where you want to go! This typically bustling bar/restaurant was empty except our group of six. We enjoyed cocktails (Painkillers and Margaritas) and lunch while taking in the amazing view. The staff was friendly and accommodating and...appreciative of our business.More
Great to see the this most amazing place and the great folks that make this special. One of the best beaches! Great food and HOT hot sauce.
The best lobster in a beach restaurant with the chef serving and visiting. Cows walked by, waves crashing, beautiful breeze. Best restaurant meal per the 9 shipmates. They sent a van to pick us up with a friendly driver. Nice beach bar attached where we...went in our bathing suits earlier in the day.More
We were spending an extra night on Anegada as weather too poor for an enjoyable sail down to Virgin Gorda. So took a taxi over to Loblolly for the day. Walked the beach and then turned up for a few drinks and lunch. Had a...few beers at the bar overlooking the sea and ordered lunch. It was served in the covered area behind the bar. Food and service excellent. Most of the menu consisted of local dishes that I wasn’t familiar with. However bar staff happy to describe and translate what was likely to arrive. Thankfully all excellent and very much to my liking. High on my list of places to return to should I visit Anegada again.More
We made our 4th visit in late February 2020. Even though Aubrey is gone, Diane and her wonderful staff and family showed us why they are the real deal on Anegada. Gregory picked us up near the Anegada Reef Hotel after our sail from Virgin...Garda and drove us to Loblolly where the snorkeling was as wonderful as we remembered and the lobster dinner (preceded by Bruce’s wonderful rum concoctions) was every bit as good as the first one 25+ years ago. This is a timeless, magical place you don’t want to miss.More
😊 Thank you very much for your comment, it is an honor that you visit us and that after 25 years you continue to make our place yours with each visit, I hope to have the pleasure of seeing you soon
The food was average and a bit of a rip off. I was told I was getting a 2-2/12 lb lobster but there was no way this was a 2 lb lobster for $50 usd (pic included). It's also a shame that after spending the...entire day there $150 for lunch that they would charge you an extra $30 to pick you up and drop you back off at the ferry terminal when it's only a few km away. The vehicle that picked us up had their name on the entire van so it looked as if it is their own shuttle. I understand there could be a cost associated with the shuttle but $30 is a bit of a rip off. Overall I wouldn't waste my time going back there ever again as the swimming in front was not that nice, the food was not that good and it's very expensive for what you get. To top it all off the cost of the shuttle left a bad taste in the mouth.More
Dear Marc, we are sorry you were not satisfied with the costs, if you give us an account number we will gladly deposit the money charged by the taxy, we apologize for any inconvenience, I wish you a happy rest of the day. Give us...More
Great little bar that now has a huge brother they built for Lobsterfest so we were told, we caught the Sunday ferry from St John to spend a day here and its beautiful and lot less built up than St John and there is not...much there but just a wonderful place to enjoy the beach and drink frozen drinks most of our day.More
This place is wonderful. We stopped by on our drive around the island and they were very accommodating, letting g us enjoy their beautiful views.
The food is always good and the service is reasonable. The beach there is excellent for snorkeling although the winds were too high for our week long visit this year.
What a great place to enjoy a spectacular beach and follow it up with an exceptional meal fresh from the sea. Their lobster pot is just off shore where you can enjoy a pleasant snorkel and swim with sea turtles. The service is superb and...the little library is handy. A must for any visit to Anegada!More
Avoid unless starving. Fish sandwich was ok; greasy fries and frozen premade burgers. Service ok but staff very unfriendly. Only benefit is the great snorkeling.
We were there before the start of the high season, and had planned to eat at CocoMaya. Unfortunately, it wasn't open, and a taxi driver took us to the Big Bamboo. It was a Sunday night, we were a party of 6. The Manager expained...that she was a little short of help in the kitchen, but we were not in a hurry. We all ate seafood, with the exception of our one vegaterian, who had no problem finding something on the menu to suit. Dinner was good, the staff quite pleasant, and the only issue that I had was getting a refill on my water. Staff knew the taxi man, and called him when it was time for us to return to our dingy. No problems, and I would have no issue with returning, having the opportunity to do so.More
The lobster was not edible and our meal for 6 was $400. We happily pay that for a great meal, but we all left hungry. The beach was beautiful right outside the restaurant though!
