Great drinks, very good BBQ ribs, and spectacular views. We went there twice during our week in Virgin Gorda, BVI. Once for afternoon drinks and to enjoy the view and again for lunch.
This is the 2nd time my husband and I had the pleasure of eating at Hog Heaven. This is truly a gem hidden way up in the hills of Virgin Gorda. The food and drinks are both delicious and the views are breathtaking. The best...part of our last visit was meeting the owner, Blondie. He was such a kind, genuine person. We hiked from Leverick Marina to Hog Heaven and were going to hike back down but were tired from eating such a wonderful meal. Blondie offered to give us a ride back to Leverick which was so kind of him. We enjoyed chatting with him along the way and learned a lot more about this beautiful island. The ribs were absolutely amazing. This is a Ginger and Honey based sauce. Excellent service and very friendly staff. I really enjoyed the view is well.
We took a hike up to Hog Heaven which is quite the hike but worth the view. The drinks were delicious, staff was friendly and we had the plantains as a little appetizer which were also tasty! Highly recommend!

Hog Heaven is a must. The view is amazing. Everyone was very happy with their meals. Even those of us that don’t eat meat. The rice and beans were wonderful.
First of all the view and the breeze is to die for!!! My family and I went for lunch and the food was superb!! When you go, I suggest that you try the fried pork and put on hot sauce!! Yummy, Yummy!! When we visited Virgin Gorda again we had to eat here. Their pulled pork sandwiches are great and very reasonably priced. the drinks were good as well but the staff was a bit unfriendly. The view there is super, looking at several islands.
This place warrants five stars for the view alone, but the food is terrific and the drinks are strong too. What’s not to love? The turnoff is easy to miss but it is well worth the hunt. Friendly service, fair prices. Don’t miss.
Upon advice of local from charter company, pulled into Leverick Bay, by-passed resort restaurants (only lower restaurant open due to low season) and went to Hog-Heaven which based upon location has amazing views of Gorda Sound and beyond. But that was not all. The food...was plentiful, flavorful and perfectly prepared. Drinks prepared by Rambo set the stage with an amazing view and dinner did not disappoint. From fish (to include conch), chicken, beef - awesome. Also the sides (which often get neglected) were on point. Dishes are individually prepared on grills right there so accept and enjoy the wait. If you are seeking fine dining (e.g. linen): not your place. The ride up and back is roller-coaster worthy and part of the adventure. Great food with a view. Be sure to get there an hour before dusk. This is a great place to stop for lunch and a view. One can see many of the surrounding islands from their deck, even as far as Anegada on a clear day. Really enjoyed their bbq. The drive up the mountain is half the fun!
We'd been wanting to try Hog Heaven for a while and it certainly did not disappoint. Hog Heaven has a well deserved reputation for good food - not surprisingly it's pork, pork and pork.! It's very unpretentious, good value and delicious! The views are spectacular...too so well worth going to when touring the island. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Our cab driver took us up to Hog Heaven for a quick beverage and a photo opportunity. The view was breathtaking! The bar was clean, well appointed and the bartender was very friendly. We recommend the short ride to the top of the mountain to...enjoy the view and patronize a great little bar.More
Its worth the drive up for the amazing view and a bite to eat. We had some pulled pork sandwiches that were great and a couple of cocktails. Water for our driver, because I would not drink and drive down that road :) The view...is amazing.More
