We visited Nova and Marina Village multiple times on the weekends and fell in love with the turquoise views, amazing food and good vibes! Besides Sunday Brunch with delicious food and amazing live saxo & DJ, the a la carte menu has it's hidden gems...like copperpot cauliflower or mustard wahoo fish. The place also have charming boutique where you can grab a coffee or wine while shopping and a game room with billiard and table soccer. Marina Village should definitely be on every BVI traveller's list, we cannot wait to be back!More

We booked a reservation for a Saturday night at this restaurant. We reviewed the menu in advance and it sounded great - tapas-style shared plates, and great-sounding desserts. The restaurant is only accessible by boat, but it sounded worth the trouble. Boy, were we wrong....We were informed when we got there that on Saturday nights, they offer a buffet instead of the regular menu, to the tune of $45 per person. The buffet’s entrees consisted of ribs, fish, roast chicken, and roast pig. If you wanted lobster, it was an additional $20. The servers had a difficult time getting more meat off the bone for the chicken and pig. They gave me a tiny portion of chicken, about 2-3 ounces. The ribs weren’t ready to be served when we went through the line. The sides included macaroni and cheese (lukewarm to cold), potato salad (too much mayonnaise), mushy watermelon and green beans. Dessert was some sort of square cake containing fruit, and looked like the type they serve at a middle school cafeteria. They also had tiny pastry shells filled with chocolate pudding, the kind you see at a hotel hosting a conference. The servers or the kitchen had a difficult time keeping up, as the trays were often empty. On top of this, they didn’t provide new plates for anyone returning for seconds. So you had people touching serving spoons to plates they had already eaten off of. Gross. When you added the cost of the tax, service charge, and drink, it came out to $70 per person. What a ripoff. The managers/owners ought to be ashamed of charging so much for such mediocre-to-poor quality food. When you have a restaurant that is only accessible by boat, the food had better be worth the trouble. I suspect you can have a better meal at the Golden Corral, for about a third of the price. There are far, far better places to eat on Virgin Gorda, like Sugarcane or Hog Heaven or CocoMaya. Avoid this place.More

Great food (salads, burgers, chicken, fish) at a stunning location. Pull up in your boat or dinghy, sit with a gorgeous view, swim in the infinity pool, eat and enjoy the jazz saxophonist music — and dance music begins at 4pm or so.

What an unexpected surprise for a beautiful setting for restaurant inVirgin Gorda. Took the free ferry over and back. Great tapas style food and fun to taste a variety of foods. Favorite was the Cauliflower pot!

This turned out to be an amazing restaurant! I thought it was better than the restaurant at the Oil Nut Bay Beach Club! The servers were great and the food was fantastic! It was also fairly quick! The view is amazing which looks out at...the Atlantic and toward Nekker Island. It is a little tricky to get here but if you do then eat at the marina. There is no additional charge for services at ONB if you just stay at the marina.More

This is one of the best option for sailboats & visitors from around the BVI. It’s a tapas style restaurant with an excellent bar and terrific servers. It also has a pool, restrooms with showers, a nice gift & food shop, and excellent atmosphere for...a great sail boat stop, overnight or daily. We had tenderloin, conch fritters, calamari, anchovies, & a reasonable guacamole. One of the best things was the mezcal margarita. It’s worth a sailboat stop and a meal or two. We’ll be back.More

We were on our way to Bitter End when we realized that it was closed. We say some boats going over to this restaurant that we thought we would check out - boy are we glad we did. This place is literally like paradise. Beautiful...lounge/restaurant with more than enough seating. Just a really cool place to hang out and have a drink. We stayed for dinner and it was fantastic, really, I can’t stress that enough. We met the manager Max, he was so helpful and kind. It was obvious that he knows how to manage the place. Service was great and food was excellent. Definitely would recommend if your in the area.More

Living on Virgin Gorda we are very often looking for things to do and ways to get off island. Even though it is technically the same island, having to take the ferry makes it feel like a whole other place. The food at Nova is...trying to push the envelope as opposed to most other restaurants on Virgin Gorda. It’s not a your typical protein, starch & veg “entree” as people are used to here but more of a “tapas style” where everyone is sharing and tasting all. It’s more of a casual elevated setting to enjoy, talk, drink, and share with the people you are with. The cocktails include enhanced caribbean classics which are always refreshing and delicious and the food is always beautifully presented and tastes great. Hopefully Nova keeps doing what they are doing and will help to keep pushing the culinary scene in the BVI forward.More
