This place may not look like much from outside, but looks can be deceiving. We saw a bunch of school kids getting after school snacks, and decided to trust the local kids-haha once we tasted the coconut cake, we went back almost every day for...the week! We also got the pound cake, which was dense, sweet and refreshing, and the cinnamon roll, which was also pretty good. Don't visit VG and miss out on this local treasure!More

Walking in and seeing empty deli area, we wondered if they were even open. We were both ready to turn around and walk back out. We asked about sandwiches to-go and she led us to another room that also had empty deli counters. Glad we...didn't go with our first impressions. The young lady making our sandwiches turned out to be delightful. We really enjoyed our visit with her. Our sandwiches were delicious.More

We were pleased to find a bakery next to Buck's Wholesale. Immediately spied the chocolate cookies and asked about bread - yes, some sandwich rolls just out of the oven. We'll take six of each! I guess I wasn't expecting to pay $24 - maybe...I should have asked first or said "no thanks" once she named the price. Freshly baked is always better than pre-packaged but we did continue to ask each other, "How was your dollar's worth of cookie?" or "Would you like $2 worth of bread with that cheese - or how about a tumbler of rum instead?"More

I have not actually been to L.S.L. Restaurant and Bakery. My mistake, apparently. I have visited Virgin Gorda twice, but have never stopped there. This week, my sister is traveling there and celebrating her birthday. I arranged with Lesley at the bakery to have a...birthday cake delivered to her resort. Lesley responded quickly to my emails, and delivered a beautiful cake to my sister on her actual birthday as planned. My sister was most surprised and said it was one of the best cakes she ever tasted. Thank you to Lesley at L.S.L. for helping me with this!More

L.S.L. is a small take out lunch spot and a bakery popular with the locals. A little hard to find it is on the right side of the road about 1/2 way down to the Baths. they only serve lunch from about 12:00 to 2:00....Bakery hours are longer and you're going to be glad they are. The variety of pastries they offer are very good. If you're staying in a villa and cooking in some days drop by to pick up something yummy for your family as a dessert.More

Delicious lunch (fish with pasta and macaroni pie) and red velvet with reasonable price at this small local establishment between copper mine and the bath. Nothing fancy, but a good mom&pop restaurant.

We drove by this restaurant several times before we decided to stop. In fact, we were a bit concerned when the reviews were so old. Anyway, this is a great location to get fresh made sandwiches and pastries on one side and a hot meal...and more pastries on the other side. The ladies are so nice and their food is reasonable and very good. Be sure to try the very Cheesy rolls, carrot cake muffins, banana mmmmm bread and the not so plain cake. It's all good stuff at a very reasonable price for the island.More

We stopped by for baking on the way to the Baths. The cinnamon buns were great but the highlight here is the takeout meals. They make main dishes like curried chicken, sweet and sour pork, etc served with rice or pasta and steamed vegetables. Only...available for an hour or so at noon and sometimes dinner time for around $12. Great food and a bargain in expensive Virgin Gorda. We picked up ours at lunch and saved it in the fridge until dinner time for a lovely, inexpensive dinner on our patio. They are very popular with the locals as there was steady stream of people stopping in to pick up lunch. That tells you a lot! Check it out.More

LSL is a great place to grab lunch and pastries, but you should also try the cake! We stopped in early in our stay and absolutely loved the cinnamon rolls and cheese rolls (a great change from a sweet breakfast, try them hot). We were...on Virgin Gorda for a very big birthday and they were able to bake us a smaller cake than their usual with only a day's notice. The cake was delicious and absolutely beautiful! The owner of the property we stayed at says that they're so well known that people ship cakes over to Tortola for big occasions. When we went to pick up the cake a line of locals was hanging out getting enormous lunches of prepared food to go, so we took the hint and did the same. It was an enormous, filling meal, big enough for two, for less than $15. The curry chicken was fantastic!More

This was a nice little deli. They were out of many items which was a bummer but, they woman behind the counter made us a great sandwich & we purchased a few baked goods. We walked back to our resort to enjoy on our balcony....The food was really good & a great value! Food & drink prices on Virgin Gorda are very expensive so this was a nice break from spending $$$ on one meal. A great find! I would recommend getting there early before they run out of menu items.More
