I enjoyed the Chicken Barbecue with all the sides! I wasn't sure about all the different sides when I read them on the menu, but I'm glad I tried the plate just the way it was because everything was just delicious!!! The prices were also...very reasonable! Would definitely visit again!More

I had read about Lolo's rib shack, and driven by on several occasions, but I had never eaten there. I made sure I did this time, and was not disappointed. The scenery looking out onto the beach set the scene. The picnic style seating also...helped. The service was swift, polite and welcoming. I ordered the ribs with coleslaw, and a rum punch. Nothing fancy here, which makes it all the better, an authentic caribbean experience. If you aren't into that, don't go, you won't appreciate it. The prices were good, the best value compared to the establishments in Orient Bay, with the best view too.More

We did a full-day cruise with Billy Bones Boatcharters and were asked when we checked in that morning if we wanted chicken, ribs, or fish. Sight unseen, having no idea where this meal would take place or how it would be prepared (on the boat,...reheated in a microwave?) we both opted for chicken. Lolo's was our pre-arranged lunch stop, and the pre-order was so that we wouldn't have to wait for them to prepare it once we got there (you could see them cooking on the grill, so it was obviously all freshly prepared!) Everything was delicious, and we wished we'd ventured out and gotten a little bit of everything, but the chicken was very good. My husband had a beer and I had a rum and coke, which was VERY strong. I don't like strong drinks, but I'm reporting it that way so that you can know you'll get your money's worth! I didn't drink most of the drink, and just went back to straight soda once back on board. (Highly recommend Billy Bones - there was a large cooler stocked with beer, rum punch, sodas and waters, so we were never lacking for something cold to drink! But mostly because our day out on the water with Captain Boy was the highlight of our trip to St. Maarten.) This place was busy - other tour groups, locals, having lunch, having drinks, enjoying the view - but the service was fast, friendly, and the prices were good. For those of you coming off a tour boat, I HIGHLY recommend you bring some shoes or flip flops ashore with you. The sand was hot, but as you get close to the restaurant, you're walking on asphalt, which is even hotter. We found ourselves playing hopscotch, trying to move from one shaded square to another in order to get to our table.More

Dinner at the Lolo's #6 was delightfully pleasant. The ambience was lively, the food simply deeeeeeeeeeeeeelicious, and the service very friendly. Shout-out to Naldo and crew. Always look forward to being there ❤️❤️❤️.

Never again, slowest and bad service! Food wasn’t even that great. I got the mac & cheese n ribs, the mac n cheese is kraft’s microwavable and ribs was a little undercook. And top all of that the service was soooo slow. I suggest Jackie’s...or Cynthia’s.More

We visited Rib shack today, July 1 and I wish we'd discovered it before. We went after the lunch rush had died down around 2:15. Got a seat overlooking the ocean and watched people jumping in from the pier. Maybe because the Rib Shack is...away from the road and doesn't immediately grab your attention, the prices are very reasonable (bottle of Heineken beer 2 Euros (not 4 Euros like the other restaurant by the road) and my grilled fish 8 with coleslaw and really lovely fries was lovely. My husband enjoyed tasty ribs. The lobster that was being served looked equally tasty. The servers and the BBQ chef were so lovely and not at all pushy. Eat here at least once if you want authentic and really-priced BBQ/grilled food. Try to get a table overlooking the water.More

The food was very good. It seemed to be a place where a lot of local people come to dine...which I liked. The service was terrific. The views were very nice.

You must must must come and have lunch or dinner here while you’re in Saint Martin. The ribs for my favorite and my husband and I had so much fun hanging out for lunch. The beach here is very cool, mostly locals enjoying the time...and beautiful scenery. Don’t miss it! Do yourself a favor and jump off the pier if you can!More

Great ribs. Fresh grilled snapper is fantastic... Takes longer because they grill it fresh but worth the wait. Tasty sides. Enjoy while you relax by the water

Had a bunch of people telling us this was a go-to place. Including the couple we befriended. It's in a great location and in-season this looks like a buzzing, place to be location - with a lot of cool places ..... that were mostly closed....The girls got a grilled chicken breast that was a thinly pounded, overcooked, not even half a breast. It lacked any inspiration. The rice and potato salad were also starch looking for a reason to be eaten. George and I got the chicken and ribs combo. Cole Slaw and Mac & Cheese were sides that at least were somewhat worthy. I've had a lot of BBQ in MA. people in the midwest scoff at is as unworthy. LoLo's BBQ pales in comparison to MA BBQ. I can't imagine someone from KC would say. It was certainly edible and the view is great - but don't have expectations of real BBQ going here. It is inexpensive and a great location so you got that going for ya.More

We wanted to like this place but the service was a big problem. the people who own it seem very nice but we weren't locals and they ignored us. Flies are a problem and the food was warm at best. I would take my business...other places. And they were out of most good foods.... Cash onlyMore

We traveled across the island (not a great distance admittedly, but the traffic is always annoying) to eat at Sky's the Limit-Lolo's and the restaurant did not disappoint. You can get all the mains as a plate with lots of sides, or as a side....Get the main as a side, and pick and choose among the sides. We got pain frit, fried cod, coleslaw, potato salad and fries to go with our ribs and chicken. It was all most delectable. A great reason to get to the north of the island.More
