We could not have asked for a more perfect end to our trip! Bistrot Caraibes definitely deserves the #1 spot. Each dish was presented beautifully. I can never resist foie gras and escargot...add the Caribbean lobster and I'm in heaven ! Chic ambiance and impeccable service. The picture keepsake is a nice personal touch. We will be back in January... More

Our evening at Bistrot Caraibes was the dining highlight of our trip to this beautiful island. The setting is very French, close seating and open to the street. The wine list is excellent and the staff was very knowledgable and made good recommendations. The food was wonderful. Must get the lobster but the other dishes were outstanding too! The entire... We dined here August 5, 2016, our last night on the island. The best restaurant we visited all week. I had the Lobster (a must have) and my family had beef bourguignon and another seafood dish. All were excellent and the service was excellent! We will definitely not wait until the end of our trip to eat here again!

My husband and I found Bistrot Caraibes on Trip Advisor and based on the reviews booked a reservation. We've dined a few times at a restaurant down the street (Le Cottage) over the many years we've been coming to SXM but never had the pleasure of dining at Bistrot Caraibes. We were missing out! This Bistrot is wonderful. We started... More

My husband and I had dinner at Bistro Caraibes during our mini stay in St. Martin. I love lobster, and this is the best Lobster Thermidor I've ever had!!! I had to the chance to pick my own lobster from their tank. The restaurant is small and cozy (only approx. 18 tables), which I liked. It's a family owned french... More

The staff is welcoming and amazing! The food was delicious! The French soup and escargot were wonderful! We selected our lobster from the pool and they cook it as you'd like, grilled or Thermidor, which is what I suggest! I had a chicken dish and my husband the snapper, not a favorite. The chocolate cake, order even if you aren't... More
