This was one of our first stops in St Martin. We have been here for just over a week and I would say this is one of the top two restaurants we have been to. If in St. Maarten, and you are a foodie, head to Grand Case or Marigot. This is tops in Marigot. The service is very personable... More

By far my favorite restaurant from our time on the island. Everything about it was incredible! The food, the service, the atmosphere. We absolutely loved it all! The dessert deserves an extra shoutout - they were the prettiest and most delicious desserts I've ever had!

Based on the advice of someone that comes almost yearly to st maarten we visited Tropicana for lunch. It was packed but we got a seat in a short amount of time. All the other restaurants around the marina were empty. First thing I noticed was there was AC and a nice breeze, some of the other places close by... More

We have eaten at fine restaurants throughout the world, and this held it's own with the very best of them. Definitely recommend the French onion soup, which was delicious. The main courses were amazing, every bite. Do NOT miss the dessert menu, they have their own dessert chef and what we had was amazing. Two of us had appetizers, main... More

I have been coming to St. Martin for decades and Tropicana has never let me down. It's my go to place for a leisurely lunch and by that I mean a two hour lunch lingering over a chilled rose, usually one of their fabulous fresh seafood salads (there are so many versions and all so, so good) and finishing it... If you want to eat great food, drink great wine, get attentive service which goes over and beyond what you would expect in a French restaurant (excusez moi les Francais, mais pas toujours evident chez vous) go to Tropicana. Everything we had tasted extraordinarily good!

Tropicana never disappoints us for lunch and is a must visit each time we visit the island. The service is outstanding and the food the most superb. save room for dessert or share one. They are the islands best

Yes, that's what she told us - the sauce is something to die for, and she was right. Excellent setting in a small, quiet marina, a seating by the sea and tremendous food and dessert.

Great food and service. Don't be put off by the neighborhood as once off the street, marina area is safe and patrolled. French onion soup was delicious, ribs of lamb superb, and desserts great. Restaurant made banana rum was and added treat. Only negative - doesn't accept AmEx!

My family of five ate lunch at the Tropicana today. We had a great meal and now know why the reviews are so good. This is a "don't miss" kind of place.
