This is a lovely French bakery/ restaurant with a plethora of items to choose from. They are all excellent and fresh but they all come at a price. Two pastries and tea was $13. The only inexpensive item are the hot dogs and hamburgers ( which would be a shame to buy at a French bakery.

We only had 45 minutes to shop at the open air market in Marigot. We spent 20 minutes in line at Sarafinas. We didn't even get to sit down to eat. The pastries were very very good though. We got one that was round and had pineapple slices on top - loved it! Just wish were hadn't been so rushed.

The smell from the freshly backed cakes and pastries was great but to taste them was even better. At times there can be a large line to get severed but worth the wait

This looks like a busy little cafe/bakery from the outside - the food we had was outstanding - we went the first time and had the pre-made sandwhiches ( they where flying off the shelf) delicious bread with chicken olives cheese and pickles - the absolute best sandwich my daughter and I have ever had ! Our second visit was... More

Every year when we return to St Maarten I insist that we spend Wednesday morning in Marigot. I have a few favorite spots. A creepier/café down the street from the marina, this small shop that sells French hair barrettes and hair bands and Sarafina's. I do not care what people say about this place. There are few places in this... More

This wasn't our first time here and it seems the service has become worse. The pastries, sandwiches, salads are all first rate delicious. But the problem seems to be that they've become so popular, the service has suffered. The quickest way to get breakfast is to be early and order coffee and pastry. Ordering anything which needs to be prepared... More

We enjoyed jumping in our rental car & circling the island in the mornings. Our 3rd & last trip we decided to stop in at Sarafina's for a light bite to eat. After inspecting all the goodies under glass we lined up to order & pick up our treats. After I ordered my delicious chocolate éclair (in English) my girlfriend... More

this place is pretty cool, a bit pricy sometimes.. and the service isn't always great. some f the waitresses behind the cash are .. less than friendly but maybe it is a french thing.. food is great . but go in the morning to get the fresh stuff. they will not accept dollars.

OMG! Wonderful and worth the stop. Nothing was disappointing. Went back to get a second tart, Choc. Croissants for dessert and breakfast. I will stop every time we drive through since you will never get that quality back home and for that great price. Staff is friendly and helpful.Never pass this place up!

You will want to get one of everything in the joint. Crepes, baguettes, croissants and sweets were delish. Wish I could have tried one of everything but I'd be 400 pounds. What I did try was just like what I had in France. So very good. The only bad thing about the place is the line up. We got there... More
