We were lucky enough to get a referral to Be Kool from a nearby shop owner, immediately after we discovered the restaurant we had reserved was closed. The Be Kool proprietor was speedy in accommodating our large group, and staff was on us with drinks as soon as we were seated. We had salads and risotto and they could not have been more delicious, well prepared, and fresh. What a find. Excellent food and service, Merci!

Great meal by the marina

This restaurant is run by two brothers and a handful of wonderful staff. I had the tigerfish in an olive sauce over a bed of shredded broccoli and beans, and the husband had a porkchop topped with brie on a black pepper sauce. Dessert, a very tasty pear tart. Excellent all! Service impeccable. I recommend this place.

Outstanding food service and entertainment!

Be Kool, be super Kool. What an amazing lunch we had today, arrived by dinghy after a recommendation from friends who live on Island. We had just arrived from Europe and this was the best meal we have had in weeks! We all had escargot, that was very quickly escargone! Tenderloin, lamb shank, beef tartare and crispy duck. All meals were outstanding. The owner and his wife are possibly the most charming french people I have ever met. We ended up with a flat battery on our dinghy, and the owner had a small tool kit, a hammer and some shots to help us get the boat started. Highly recommended, we will be back. Big smiles and BKool.

Fabulous French Cuisine!

Stumbled on this gem as our regular haunt, L'escargot, in Phillipsburg, was closed for renovations. Steak Tartare, Escargot and Sea Bass all incredible and some of the best roast potatoes and frites i've ever had. Great wine selection at reasonable prices. Will certainly be back!

Perfect Place for Lunch or Dinner and Gourmet Food with not so expensive pricing

Excellent Food, Friendly Staff, Good Service, variety of options, in Fish, Shrimps, Vegan and more. Chef Anthony does every dish with enthusiasm and one can taste it !!!! Elliot at the Bar and orders was great... Had a Mushroom Rissotto with jumbo Shrimps and also a Seabass pan seared on top of sauteed vegetables with mango coconut milk sauce with a side of Sauteed Potatoes. Dont forget the home made Rum after your meal which is on the house!!! all in all was a great first experience and would sure keep going back and also receommend it to all

Did not disappoint

This restaurant lived up to all the reviews I read. It was truly delicious. The best onion soup I e ever had. My flank steak was excellent as well and the fish dinners were also. Owners are lovely gentlemen who were very friendly and genuinely honored to have us dining with them I’d like to also mention the restaurant was suggested from our chef friend fro New York and. Private yacht Chef! Wishing them the best of success.

Fabulous Lunch

We were visiting the island, take our dear friends who live on the island to lunch. They don't get out very much as of late and I suggested this restaurant. They were not familiar and a bit skeptical.... We will all return. Our meal was phenomenal, service was fantastic, presentations were everything you would hope for - no disappointment anywhere. Can't wait to return in March! Glad we had a reservation as people were being turned away into the lunch hour as they were at capacity!!!

I know it's a cliche, but A HIDDEN GEM!

We were at Be Kool in Marina Royale last nite and we can't say enough about the food, ambience and friendliness of the wait staff. Eliot was attentive, efficient and engaging. Chef Anthony provided us with works of culinary art that were perfectly prepared, executed and presented. Blending of flavors made all of our dishes supremely satisfying and sumptuously delicious. We had Shepherd's Pie (forget what you've had in Irish pubs!), skirt steak and salmon, all perfect. Our only regret was that we didn't have room for profiteroles, which were the size of tennis balls!! VERY reasonable prices, BUT when using your credit card, remember that the price quoted in EURO is the one to pay. )Your bank will give you a MUCH better exchange rate than the restaurant will.)We'll be back!!!

Piece of France in Marigot!

Piece of France in Marigot! Very nice bistro like you find in the south of France, Côte d’Azur! Lovely people and excellent food. We had a very nice evening at the marina. We recommend the risotto or the beef tenderloin. But we also recommend the fish tartare! And save some room for the homemade desserts.

Excellent lunch at Marina Royale

We enjoyed an excellent lunch at Be Kool, starting with delicious escargot! I chose salmon with goat cheese sauce, while my husband selected sautéed calamari and shrimp. A couple glasses of wine, a dessert sampler...and a visit at our table by Chef Anthony! We highly recommend Be Kool Restaurant!

Lovely lunch

Lovely lunch on the marina in Marigot. The menu changes on a daily basis, and never disappoints. We had lovely salads as as starter. These were preceded by an amuse de bouche of cold creamy sweet potato soup. Our mains were sauerkraut with seafood, a fish dish and an excellently prepared beef tenderloin. Chocolate mousse to share concluded the meal. My only pet peeve was the ratio from the € to the $ (absolutely not correct) (I could have avoided that by paying by card: my bad). Once again a wonderful meal in a scenic setting

We always love the food here. The menu is written on a board because they change it frequently. My wife said the truffled burrata mushroom toast and the breaded soft boiled egg appetizers are two of the best dishes ever. The fries are delicious and the garlic potatoes are even better - lots and lots of garlic.

Best restaurant on the marina or probably in Marigot

Just before the lock down we were here for a Saturday lunch and we all declared this is best restaurant have been to on the French side of St. Martin. Everything was perfect. the view, food and presentation were all excellent. Many daily special dishes. They really pay attention to the guests, were warm, friendly and that was why the restaurant was packed. They are going to re-open in July. - I will give an update then. but put this on your list

Little Gem

A tucked away spot, we found it purely by chance coming in by dinghy from Marigot Bay through Sandy Ground bridge. It was absolutely delightful. The risotto with scallops was outstanding, the creme brûlée a wonderful way to finish off this impromptu lunch. Definitely one to go to whilst in the area.Very nice owners. A gem.

Found this restaurant in the inner marina royals. Delightful. Food was outstanding. Prices reasonable and service exceeds all expectations. I had dove sole for 29 euros and it came with potatoes and veggies. Chocolate mousse to die for! My husband had a filling duck confit and onion soup. Everything was reasonably priced.
