Ate here several times and had really good fresh food and great service each time. Decided to have lunch here our first day on the island based on how other people's food looked and were very happy with our meal. Terrific barbecue on Monday night and even though it rained at the end, the staff was very quick to move... More

They should probably install some type of screen - it's cool how it's open but there are major flies. Very unappealing. Seemed pricy but the swordfish was good. Service was okay. We will give it another shot. We wish the hotel had another restaurant or cafe as it is a very secluded hotel.

We ate there several times and enjoyed it every time. The food was very good, fresh and tasty. It's windows open to the most beautiful views of the ocean. It is near the pool, close to the rooms of the Belair Hotel and used by many. Try it you will like it....

The first time I visited this place I was not expecting anything more than a mediocre meal and an overpriced beer. After waiting about 15 minutes for the waiter/bartender/owner/cook to bring me a menu over (which you will soon learn is just what they call "Island Time") I ordered the most simple thing on the menu, a BLT. The food... More

The service wasn't very friendly. The drinks were watered down. The food was overpriced. The food was not good quality either. We walked to the Little Divvy and had excellent food/service.

If you are looking for food that is prepared like a gourmet restaurant, you must visit the Gingerbread adjacent to Bel air beach hotel. It's a small restaurant that can hold about 40 people, but don't let that stop you from eating here. One of the specialities for breakfast is French toast...best Ever. They make a pan fried grouper with... More

We stay at Divi, next door, but go there for a wicked good breakfast. Have breakfasted there for years. Yup, only breakfast.

I love the breakfast Benedict here at Gingerbread Café. We keep this stop as our sendoff breakfast at the end of each trip to Sint Maarten.

Bottom line...at first glance, this place doesn't look like much. Looks like your basic beach cafe where you'd expect the usual beach fare. Nice little bar area and a total of approx. 10 tables with plastic chairs. That's until you order one of their main dishes. That's when you realize that you're eating in a great Caribbean restaurant complete with... More

We enjoy their breakfast. Great people, good food. Located on the beach at the Bel-air Hotel. You got to check it out.
