My bestie and I ate here multiple nights during our stay and loved every bite. The steaks are the best (tenderloin) and cooked to perfection. You can also work with your butler and identify anything you may want that is off the menu (we loved...the cheeseburgers so much from the beach that we asked for that in advance one evening). Perfect setting on the beach.More
We were delighted by the vegan options on the menu; the gazpacho was ok, as was the vegetable roti, but the tomato confit and the curried cauliflower dishes are amazing! Beautiful views as well.
It may be more expensive than most resort restaurants, but it’s worth every Eastern Caribbean Dollar. The food is classy, with local flavor but a fine dining touch - shrimp fried on a sugar cane skewer, fish with tasty sauces, etc. That, and it’s right...on the most beautiful beach on a paradise island, steps away from snorkeling and sailing.More
We had lunch here when visiting Sugar Beach - the only place to eat of not staying at the resort. It's pricey - $80 for a single course lunch for 2. The build your own pizza was good value at $25 - but only because...that was the price for any number of toppings. My wife had the caribbean chicken salad - as an entree (because she was hungry). This was twice the price of the appetiser (not just 50%) more - at $33. She liked it but found it very spicy. Despite water being perfectly drinkable on the island - with most places serving it cold with ice from jugs - you have to buy bottled water here for $5. If money is no object then a great place to go, but if you're more of a value-seeker like me then consider getting a bar snack. They serve food there too and it's a nice barefoot setting with trees providing lots of shade.More
Stayed a Sugar Beach and ate at Bayside twice out of our 7 night stay. The fresh food was some of the best we had on the island and the service was very good! Recommend trying the Tuna TarTare.
Sugar beach is nested between the Pitons. The area is only open to resort or restaurant guests. Researvation is needed. Food is fusion style and great. The restaurant is on the beach, with a beautiful view.
We had dinner there on our first night at Sugar Beach. The food was good but extremely expensive. We would have been happy to pay these prices had the service been good but unfortunately this was not the case. The family next to us had...an even worse experience as they had small kids and told us they waited more than 1 hour and a half for their entrée.More
After paying the US$ 50 resort access fee we had lunch. Then we went to the beach and while sitting in the sand we were told by hotel staff we were not allowed on the beach. We got into a shouting match and eventually were...allowed to remain on the beach. Rather disappointing.More
Was waiting for a waiter for 15 minutes, had to go to the bar to order on my own, was waiting another 5 minutes, was forced to pay service charge even though there was no service whatsoever, the wine was warm and they put it...to another table next to us which was empty (!), we were 3 ppl and they brought 2 glasses and on top of everything, we had to wait another 5 minutes for the wine to get opened! Complained and manager on duty came and said we can't do anything but will do $USD10 discount, not even apologised. A shame for such a place to have that kind of service. P.S If you're not a guest of the hotel you have to pay $50USD per each sunbed! Ridiculous the least!!More
