We went on Valentine's Day and were very suspect when the restaurant only had a couple tables occupied. We had had a long day and were hungry and had not made a reservation at a fancy Valentine restaurant spot. What a pleasant surprise. The service...was very good and the food was even better. Our server recommended the rack of lamb and chicken creole. I was especially suspect of the rack of lamb given the very low-key setting of the restaurant. The presentation of the plates were excellent and the food was terrific. The lamb was very tasty and perfectly cooked with very nice side dishes. Thank you for a memorable meal!More

This second floor restaurant features great local food. The fish was fresh and well seasoned, and the salad was crisp. A highlight was the fried banana (not plantain) dish

Our NY family of 6 had the most delicious lunch today- the salted codfish cakes and garlic bread were great starters. We also ordered the chicken curry and catch of the day which was pan seared with garlic butter. The side dishes were amazing. We...loved the staff, too! Brian and Elijah were friendly and accommodating. We were so happy that our wonderful driver brought us to this “locals” spot.More

We ate there 3 times during our 12 night stay, and it was easily our favourite restaurant. It has great food, friendly service - and it's actually open in the evenings, which many many places in St Lucia are not.

We went to this place because we couldn’t get in anywhere else last minute. Honestly wasn’t pleased with anything. I got the fish of the day, kingfish, and it looked like a mystery meat with a large bone and brown meat. We also got the...snapper and that was edible, served as a whole fish. The sides served were average. Definitely the worst meal we have had on the island.More

Truly wonderful vibe and experience. Came here for lunch one day, and dinner the next - and it didn’t disappoint on either! The food was fresh and cooked to order, with a number of tempting choices! Catered well for my wife, who is vegan also!...Excellent value, very attentive staff and a wonderful view of the sea. A real hidden gem in Soufriere. p.s. go for the catch of the day!More

My husband and I went to this place based on the strong recommendation from the staff at our hotel. We came in around 7:30 and the place was pretty much empty. We ordered the St Lucia style boneless chicken and the fish of the day...with a salad. The salad was tasty but the chicken was tough and the sides were undistinguished. The server was pleasant, but there was no ambience. I enjoy “authentic local cuisine” as much as anyone, but I’m confused by the great reviews.More

The food here is AMAZING! It felt like a home cooked meal and the staff were very welcoming. If you’re in town and you want great food for an affordable price, be sure to check out Waterfront DeBelle View

Delicious local fresh food at a reasonable price. We each had the catch of the day cooked various ways. Washed down with a couple of Piton beers!

This place is located at the waterfront on the first floor of an old wooden building. They serve local food such as creole and roti. The food was good quality, the service was very friendly and quick (and this is not a norm in many...local places). It is a little bit overpriced but still better than many other places in the town.More

Five of us called for lunch. We had beers/rum punch and then three had fish of the day and two of us had chicken. The chicken had barely any meat on the bones. There were mixed veg and rice with it and not particularly hot....Our friends had eaten here before and recommended it but I wasn’t impressed.More

There aren't many local restaurants in town that are open at night but this one is a good find. We had fresh fish for dinner and it was really tasty. From the outside the restaurant doesn't look especially appealing but a few locals we met...told us the food was really good. So we gave it a try and we're glad we did. The prices are good and the service was friendly.More

We had a late dinner on a Saturday night, so we had the place to ourselves (other than the proprietress's family). We each had a bowl of delicious pumpkin soup, then we shared a main of grilled fish with rice and veggies (including dasheen, aka...taro, plus regular and sweet potato, broccoli, green beans, and carrots) in a garlicky wine sauce, washed down with a Piton beer and a tamarind juice. Neither the atmosphere nor the food was fancy, but that suited us just fine!More

We decided to walk to the town from our hotel, which was a bit of a trek. This was the only restaurant we could find that was open. The views from the windows are stunning. The staff were friendly. Hubby ordered a burger and I...had a salad and we shared them. The food was fine, nice enough but not brilliant. For the price it was good value.More
