As this one was recommended to us by our hotel, and this one was also higher rated than the other available Indian restaurant in the same street, we went here. This is the one closest to the little shopping center near the corner with the main road. A very good Indian indeed: lots of choice on the menu, good quality... More

We stopped here on our first night in St Lucia upon everyones recommendation. They have there ranking for a reason on the island. Although its not your typical island fare its great food with the proper portions for travelers. No leftovers and no stuffing yourself. The food is prepared perfectly and packs plenty of flavor. Expect some heat but nothing... More

We ate here with local friends during the first week of our holiday. Once more the food did not disappoint and was excellent, along with the service. I had a special chicken and ginger dish which I love along with the Bharti and the Chana Marsala… It was lovely to be back and Chef Adil and his team do a... More

Dear guest, Thanks for another stellar review of your experience with us once again. It is sad to know of your sudden departure from St Lucia but we will look forward to seeing you again in June. I guess you will be drinking salted Lassi again. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Best regards, Chef Adil More

We ate at the Spice of India a couple of times on our last holiday to St Lucia in 2012. We are very pleased to say it continues to provide excellent food and service. Goan Fish curry, saffron cheesecake. Especially liked the beautiful light naan bread. Suffice to say we chose this restaurant for our first meal out.

My friend had never tried Indian food and she is now in love with it! We both enjoyed our dining experience so much that we came back again for two dinners in 8 days. Loved the presentation of cold towels and offering of choices in water at outset when you are seated. Service is superb; at least 5 people checked... More

Absolutely superb. I visit St Lucia regularly and always make a point of dining here. The food and service are first class and good value, as Adir says, why dine economy?

My wife had read reviews of this place before we left for vacation to st lucia. The spice of India lived up to all the great reviews we had read. Great food and service. The head chef makes sure to come around and ask everyone personally how the food is.

We dined here during a week long stay in st. Lucia - we were attracted to the menu and rating on tripadvisor - it's not the best Indian nor the best food in the area, but we thoroughly enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. We would recommend this place to others who enjoy a good curry in authentic surroundings.
