This was our second visit, having eaten here last year as well. We had the lunch 'tasting menu' which comprises of tiny portions of a lamb dish, a chicken dish, a green banana dish and a dahl, served with rice and nan. It was tasty and just about enough for lunch. Taking into account both visits to this restaurant I... More

We really enjoyed our lunch at Spice of India (who also run Masala Bay in Marigot Bay which we also visited and thoroughly enjoyed) the Mahi Mahi was particularly good and we also tried the Lamb sag and the Chicken. Lovely chapatis too, and service was excellent (including from the manager who checked if the spice level was ok) As... More

We are very well travelled and have been to many restaurant over the world but the food in this India. Restaurant was delicious!!! Only negative would be they had run out of several different types of wine. This is not acceptable! When you are down to your last 20 bottles order more! If you are in the area you have... More

This restaurant serves the best Indian food on island. It offers a lovely ambiance nestled in the Rodney Bay Village. The staff and management are very friendly and ensure that you have a great dining experience. The spiciness of the meals are adjusted according to the individual's preference.

Ok restaurant, not as Indian as we've expected. The food was a little bit tasteless - not spice as they claim.

Dear guest, Sorry that you found us just Ok restaurant. Not all Indian cuisine is full of various spices and complex flavors. Some are very bland and plain as well. After all it is a huge cuisine and extremely diverse. All depending on what you would order. If you let us help you order, maybe we could have suggested dishes to... More

Wonderful greeting from all concerned and a nice 'amuse bouche' which was subtly flavoured. I found the other 3 dishes to be interesting and beautifully and artistically presented but the flavours in them and in the 3-bowl condiment tray to be rather wimpy. It wasn't until my final dish of tandooried fish that I made remark of this and was... More

Dear Poolman, Thanks for coming to SOI and posting these great photos of your dinner with us. I am sorry to read that you did not have our usual satisfying experience with us like many others. I would like to clear this misconception about our name being associated with chillies. Spice doesn't at all mean fiery and strong flavours. There... More

We were surprised to find an Indian restaurant of this quality in St Lucia. A large extensive menu and the food and wine were excellent.
