The tables almost reach into the sea, the "room" is lovely, food is fresh and local. We went 7 of us and paid an average of $60 each for a couple of course and one or two drinks each, considering the quality on offer that seemed fair.

Off the beaten path. Waterside, open-air, great ambiance. The wine list was great. The food was good. We'd go here again.

The best relaxing meal, delicious food we had during our trip, definitely suggest going there. A bit pricey but worth every penny.

Kudos to Kim who served us at both the Coal Pot and the Pink Plantation. Same terrific warm and personal service as well as outstanding seafood. I think the chef might have been the same in both places the day we went. Definitely worth the trip, plus the wine and drinks menu had lots to offer.

We have eaten here several times over the past few years and, without exception, the food has been fabulous. A lovely range of local seafood is on offer, including my favourite starter of crab backs. The view is lovely over Vigie Marina and apart from the odd small aircraft arriving/departing from the nearby airport, it is very tranquil. A little... More

The food was well cooked but lacked seasoning with none available on the table. We were urged to have the pumpkin soup, which was quite nice. My husband had fish and I had pork tenderloin. The service was very good. I was under whelmed.

It is always dangerous to recommend places to eat because we are all different and like different things. But we have eaten at The Coal Pot over many years and have always enjoyed the evening. Getting a table at the water's edge is lovely (but do put on the repellent before you go). We have always found it very special... More

We came for a romantic dinner and it was even better than we imagined! It is situated on a quiet spot literally right on the water with beautiful dimmed lighting. Kim was so wonderful and helped us feel so comfortable and relaxed to enjoy the scenery and our meal. We enjoyed the tuna and jumbo shrimp, the portions were so... More

A lovely, local restaurant in a historical building, located right on the water front...not beach front but pretty beautiful. The local food is absolutely St Lucian; reminds me of Sunday lunch growing up. You do have a proper menu to choose from. You can get all the ground provisions and tasty fish. The goat cheese appetizer is lovely as well.... More
