Candles, fairy lights and a peaceful setting next to the marina! Me and two friends visited for an evening meal, the food is beautiful! I chose the lobster which was just to die for! My friends both went for locally caught fish which you can have with many choices of different sauces. If I was to return to st Lucia... More

My friend and I just got back from St. Lucia and had an incredible trip. Unfortunately, after an amazing day on a boat charter, we had a really disappointing meal at the Coal Pot. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was just shortly after dusk and we were the only people at the restaurant. The server, while not overly... More

Wonderful location, exquisite food (compliments to the chef!), cooked to perfection overlooking a beautiful bay with stunning surroundings. Peaceful, tasteful and service that was second to none. HIGHLY recommend! One word of advice for The Coal Pot is that they would benefit greatly from some ceiling fans. It is hot in St. Lucia and if you aren't acclimated, it can... More

We took a trip out to this restaurant as a family. There were 10 of us and every single one of us loved our food. The setting is also beautiful and the service is outstanding this is well worth a visit if you are in Castries we will definitely go back when we are in the area again

Lovely remote waterside setting. The varied menu and what we chose was delicious and we'll presented by a lovely waitress called Porsche, she was worth her money, funny and professional, attentive without getting in the way, the fact that the seating is outside its stiflingly hot and muggy under the canopy and could use some fans or out doors AC.... One of the best meals we had our week in St Lucia. Fantastic location on the bay, great service, & fabulous meal! I had the mahi (Dorado)-perfectly cooked with a garlic-lemon sauce, & my husband had the surf & turf, also cooked just like he wanted it! We loved the relaxing pace, romantic ambiance of the location & the wonderful... More

Diner a deux with my daughter. A late booking but accepted; disappointed that the person in charge took 20 minutes to bring our cocktails and was pestering me to order the food - "the kitchens are closing" - before they arrived. Otherwise the usual high quality food though some of the more expensive items were ambitiously-priced.Lovely setting, right down by... More

The Coal Pot is a lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the harbor. It definitely has a more upscale feel than most of the other restaurants in the Castries area. The food was good, but the portions are small and it is very expensive. You are definitely there for the ambiance, and it is worth it at least once!

Our meal was on a dock that overlooked the bay, which of itself was quite charming. We both ordered Escargot for our appetizer which was superb, the wine was spot on as well. The menu board was a different idea, and it is noteworthy that the restaurant does not erase the selections, but will indicate to you what fish is... More
