we were referred here as it being a favorite for locals. Good food, and service with nice sunset view. It is hidden away in a less than desirable area so do not walk around alone at night.

Don't show up at 9PM expecting to eat. We were turned away yesterday after making it a point to try this restaurant. Very disappointed. Update your hours on here so others are not mislead!

We had read a number of reviews of the Coal Pot and were not disappointed! For anyone struggling to find it, aim for the airport! Take the road that goes down the runway on the left hand side. Such a lovely location and the mussels in garlic butter in particular were excellent. The main courses were huge and we were... More

Coal is one of the best places for lunch or dinner. The food is always fresh, delicious and consistent. To top it all off its nestled between lush greenery and a spectacular ocean view. That wish makes it difficult to beat.

WE really loved our first experience at this spot - so quaint and charming - tucked into a busy little harbour - worth stopping in! This time round, however, the food was not outstanding as it had been - still very good but not what we were hoping for! the ambiance and locale are still wonderful - we just felt... More

I gave this an average mark as it was quite expensive and just OK food . We were spoilt at our hotel but fancied a change and some local cuisine . By day the location is quite shabby but by night the lighting and water front looks very quaint with just the sound of waves and wildlife as to be... More

Enjoyed a lovely lunch by the waterside with good food. Same owners as Pink Plantation which is also good. Recommended.

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant dinner on a Friday evening overlooking the small harbour. I had the Dorado with the coconut curry sauce, which was excellent ( could have done with a bit more of the sauce ) whilst my wife had the large shrimps, also with the coconut sauce. The only slight disappointment of the night... More

A bit of a challenge to find, but worth the effort. Fun view of a fairly industrial portion of the harbor. The menu clearly requires fresh ingredients since some items were unavailable due to rough water in the fishing grounds. No worries since the menu had plenty of great items to choose from. Not cheap, but in this case you... More
