Excellent well prepared food! We had read and heard so many good reviews that we did not want to miss this when visiting St. Lucia. We looked for it one day during daylight hours and boy are we glad we did. It would have been hard to find in the dark. It is located on Seraphine Road which runs along... More

My cousin and his wife had eaten at the Coal Pot on their honeymoon and highly recommended it to us when we went to the Island for our honeymoon. The outside of the restaurant is very unassuming. Our cab pulled up and we were a bit skeptical. Once we stepped inside, we were in love. The restaurant literally sits on... More

We went fishing with Captain Mike and this restaurant is in the same marina. When we came back from fishing, we had caught a Mahi and our boat captain offered to filet it for us so that we could take it to the Coal Pot for them to cook for us. What a great find that turned out to be!!... More

We would definitely go back if we visit the island again (hopefully). The only drawbacks are that it isn't easy to find though the ferry ride in the marina was fun. In addition, the view... More

The service was good but maybe not great but I felt let down by the food. Calamari was chewy, chicken overdone, French soup was good and steak was good. I expected more from this restaurant based on price and reviews. I wouldn't rule it out by any means, just don't have so high expectations. I'd give describe it as a... More

Great setting and food. They were out of a couple different types of fish which was disappointing. But we still had a great meal.

The Coal Pot is a very good restaurant just by the water's edge in Seraphine, Castries. A bit difficult to find because it is a bit away from downtown. The menu offers a good choice, the food is good, and the staff offers a well mannered, friendly and good service. The Mahi Mahi fish was fresh and nicely prepared and the... More
