We stopped at the Beacon for a buffet lunch while on our tour of the island. The view was stunning and there was a fantastic breeze at that level of the island. The food was traditional Lucian dining, which was very good and the service...was excellent! I highly recommend, but be sure to have cash on hand since many tourist stops do not take credit cards.More

We were at Diamond Falls and talking to a tour guide who recommended The Beacon for lunch. It’s not in a location you’d ‘happen upon’! It's a bit of a drive up from Soufreire. The woman who is the host was lovely. She walked us...through the buffet so we could see the options before committing. The selection is great, there’s enough to try different things, but not so much that it sits out for long. And there was salad, which I always appreciate at lunch. The food was great! We were expecting to be wowed by the views, which we absolutely were. We expected the food to be fair, but it was wonderful! We particularly loved the fish, the rice, and the pigeon peas. Lunch also comes with a fruit juice and a scoop of ice cream. The juice was great, but I didn’t want to fill up on juice when the food was so good. The views were unbelievable. My son said it was worth the cost of the buffet ($16 US) just for the views. I do agree with other reviewers that the bathrooms were a little lacking, but that would be my only negative. If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely go back. If you are going to be in the area, definitely go!More

We visited this restaurant as a family of seven adults on a tour. I had heard good things about it so I specifically requested our guide take us here and he was happy to oblige. The Beacon is even nicer than we expected it to...be! The restaurant is beautiful painted in bright happy colours, and the views of the Pitons are stunning. The food was some of the best we had on the island and we all loved it. We liked that it's buffet style so we could try various dishes that were on offer. . This was my favourite restaurant we visited on the island and I would definitely come back if I found myself on Saint Lucia again.More

We went to The Beacon as part of a Land and Sea excursion we booked at our hotel, and we were blown away by the views from the restaurant. You have an incredible view of the Pitons, and you will get amazing pictures from the...restaurant of the mountains. The food is fresh, authentic, and local food and it was incredible. We were nervous that our kids would not find something to eat, but they loved the fish stick and rice. My favorite were the plantains which were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.More

They are so professionally run through this covid pandemic - distance between staff, all masked, take away set up well with hand sanitizer. Best in St. Lucia. My favorite restaurant in St. Lucia.

We stopped here on our way back from the volcano and botanical gardens and enjoyed a lovely traditional Caribbean buffet lunch in a very pink place! Very very tasty and great value at $40 EC per head. The views of the Pitons from this place...are absolutely incredible! We would also like to thank Theresa who looked after us so well. It’s a pleasure to see someone who takes great joy in what they do. All in all a must visit if you are travelling back to Castries from a morning spent in Souffriere. Highly recommended for lunch.More

Would rather eat a dead raccoon, staff are clueless and running around like chicken with their heads chopped off. Taxi drivers take everyone here to get a free lunch. Beautiful view to take a picture but would not make my worst enemy eat the food....Food poisoning waiting to happen. Ruined the afternoon of a good trip.More
