Well the atmosphere feels more like NYC than St barts, and the service is a bit know it all Italians, loud and arrogant servers, but the food is excellent. I can't argue with the food. The prices are high, very very high. If I want to spend 500 euro on a dinner I will return. The food is solid.

One of the restaurant icons in St. Barth, keeps serving very good and creative Italian food. However, the restaurant acoustics is very poor. Impossible to keep a conversation when the restaurant is full. Also, since the waiting area is minimal and around a small bar, the tables near it are "invaded" by people waiting for the their tables - you... More

If you just can’t take any more of this island paradise vibe and are pining for New York, go to this uber-popular place in Gustavia. Once inside, you could be on the Upper East Side, or for that matter in almost any high-end Italian restaurant in any major city in the States. Hopelessly loud and full of Americans who seem... An authentic Italian restaurant (translation: it's no Olive Garden). Well thought out menu, excellent wine list with extensive selections of Piedmontese wines. I had a superb carpaccio inventively served in a hollowed out melon. Excellent cotoletto Milanese (elephant ear) topped with arugula salad. Veal is uniformly superb and the lobster ravioli is second to none. A must when on the... More

We met some friends here one night for dinner. We had dinner reservations for 7:30pm. We were sat promptly and ordered some wine. The waiter came back and told us we had to order right now or wait 45 minutes because he had a large party. We were surprised t the rudeness. The food was very good and the wine... More

There are more great restaurants in St. Barth than the rest of the Caribbean combined. Two are head and shoulders above the rest and L'Isola is one. In fact, having dined throughout Italy as well, this is one of the best Italian eating experiences worldwide. Expensive, precise, worth the time and without equal combining Italian cuisine and haute atmosphere. Every... More

Who would have thought that a French island called St. Barth's could have such an excellent restaurant? It does and you do not want to miss having dinner there. Tucked away on a corner is this very chic restaurant that offers excellent food and service. It is somewhat on the dark side inside, but the mirrors help with the ambient... More

The food is always great here. Crowded boisterous italian with a sparkly clientele. I love the carpaccio here and we had a lobster ravioli special that was unbelievable. They also do the staples well so I am hard pressed to not get the bolognese unless I'm distracted by one of the specials. Be warned, it is dark. Every table needed... More
